Tonight is the night! The first time President Trump will address Congress during his second term.
It isn’t a State of the Union address, but it could be even more important.
President Trump definitely got everyone talking when he posted THIS about tonight’s big event!

And on top of that, President Trump’s team put THIS out just a short time ago.
When was the last time you saw a HYPE VIDEO before the President spoke to Congress!?
He definitely has my interest!

But what is he actually going to be talking about?
If this isn’t a State of the Union address… why did it need to happen NOW?
I have a feeling there are some surprises in store for tonight, or else President Trump is about to feel the pain of promising more than he can deliver.
And I don’t think that’s a mistake he is likely to make.
When he says it’s “big”… I think it’s probably BIG.
So here are the five things that are MOST likely to be front and center during the big show tonight.
First off… the tariffs and high prices.
For one thing, the tariffs are definitely on everyone’s mind right now.
Ontario’s Premier is even threating to cut off power to U.S. states as a response!
But tonight’s speech is likely going to be a chance for President Trump to explain his methodology behind using tariffs, according to Fox News:
Trump will deliver his address hours after his 25% tariffs on Canada and Mexico — the nation’s neighbors and top trading partners — kicked in.
The speech will likely offer him a platform to explain his controversial tariff moves, which have been widely panned by critics, and to outline how he will combat continued inflation.
Democrats and even some Republicans warn that the tariffs could further boost inflation and raise prices even higher. Additionally, Democrats argue that “Donald Trump has done nothing to lower costs for you.”
Inflation, which dogged former President Joe Biden for much of his four years in the White House, was a key issue that boosted Trump back to the presidency.
ADVERTISEMENTHowever, Trump has not talked much about inflation since returning to power, other than to blame Biden for continued high prices. He has acknowledged that consumers could feel “some pain” from his tariffs but has said they are necessary to help boost the nation’s manufacturing.
“IF COMPANIES MOVE TO THE UNITED STATES, THERE ARE NO TARIFFS!!!,” Trump wrote in a social media post hours ahead of his address.
The second thing you should expect to see from tonight’s speech is the topic of Elon and the WONDERFUL shrinking government!
For far too long, conservatives have been satisfied with spending less on paper, while the actual SIZE of the government has grown by leaps and bounds year after year!
No more.
And a lot of the cuts I expect to hear President Trump talk about tonight will be those within the IRS, in line with a report from just a few hours ago by a Fox News affiliate in Minneapolis:
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is preparing for massive workforce reductions, with up to 45,000 jobs at risk, according to two people familiar with the matter who spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to disclose the plans.
The layoffs, voluntary buyouts, and attrition-based cuts are part of the Trump administration’s larger effort to downsize the federal government, spearheaded by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
The IRS has already started reducing its workforce. In February 2025, the agency laid off roughly 7,000 probationary employees, most of whom had one year or less of service. Additionally, the IRS has launched a “deferred resignation program”, offering buyouts to employees willing to leave voluntarily.
IRS could fire 45,000 staff

That would be a GIANT leap in the direction of a LIMITED GOVERNMENT!
The third likely topic President Trump will hit on tonight would be the Ukraine-Russia war.
After the crazy shouting match that erupted last Friday in the Oval Office…
And the resulting BOOT that Zelensky was given from the White House…
I can’t imagine that President Trump won’t bring up the issue.
Not to mention, as we have reported today, there are whispers that the President has plans to allow Zelensky to sign on the dotted line after all, regarding the “minerals for security” deal.
Apparently Zelensky’s recent change of tune has been enough to satisfy the President that he can count on Zelensky to stay in line, and not thwart his attempts to bring about an end of the fighting in Ukraine.
Nick Sortor was one of the first to break that news today, on X, after a report came out by Reuters:
🚨 #BREAKING: President Trump and Zelensky plan to sign the Ukrainian mineral deal TODAY, and Trump will announce it during his Congressional address tonight, per Reuters

The fourth big topic I’m expecting President Trump to bring up tonight would be immigration and the border.
Besides being the “signature element” of BOTH his terms in office…
The work his team is doing through ICE, the DOJ, in cooperation with C&BP has been nothing short of astounding in such a short time.
He literally ran his re-election campaign on this topic, according to Fox News:
Border security has long been Trump’s signature issue and was a key element in his successful 2024 campaign to win back the presidency, and since returning to the White House, the president has cracked down on illegal immigration.
ADVERTISEMENTTrump suspended asylum efforts and launched a mass deportation program, but he and his administration want to speed up efforts, and he’ll use his speech to ask Congress for help.
Leavitt highlighted that Trump is “going to make an ask of Congress tonight: We need more border funding to continue these deportations.”
And finally, the THEATRICS. Expect to see something wild tonight!
As I stated earlier… we really don’t know exactly why President Trump is so intent on coming before Congress right now.
But from his HYPE VIDEO and announcements leading up to tonight’s address, he definitely seems to have something up his sleeve!
Not to mention… the democrats have already been seen plotting and planning today with every intention of causing a disturbance during his speech.
Here’s our reporting from earlier today, exposing these WEIRD scripted videos put out by a few dozen democrats!
PUPPET STRINGS: 23 Democrats Post Identical Scripted Videos — Who’s Writing The Scripts?
And on top of that, multiple plans have been rumored to be in the works to cause a disruption.
Everything from the use of hand clappers and eggs, according to Axios:
Democratic lawmakers are discussing a litany of options to protest at President Trump's speech to Congress on Tuesday, including through outright disruption, a half dozen House Democrats told Axios.
Some of these tactics go beyond their leaders' recommendation that members bring guests hurt by Trump and DOGE. This sets up a potential clash between party traditionalists and its more combative anti-Trump wing.
"The part that we all agree on is that this is not business as usual and we would like to find a way — productively — to express our outrage," one House Democrat told Axios.
Some members have told colleagues they may walk out of the chamber when Trump says specific lines they find objectionable, lawmakers told Axios.
A wide array of props — including noisemakers — has also been floated:
- Signs with anti-Trump or anti-DOGE messages — just as Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) held up a sign during Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech last year that said "war criminal."
- Eggs or empty egg cartons to highlight how inflation is driving up the price of eggs.
- Pocket constitutions to make the case that Trump has been violating the Constitution by shutting down congressionally authorized agencies.
- Hand clappers, red cards like those held up to express disagreement at town halls, and various other props have also been discussed.
All in all, there are sure to be fireworks and big moments throughout the evening.
Pop your popcorn, gather the family (maybe not the little ones...) and get ready for something "big", according to President Trump.
Whatever he has planned, I trust that it's in the best interest of the country.
