Worship God For The Testimony ofJesus Is The Spirit of Prophecy

Happy Sunday friends!

Time for our weekly Sunday Gospel message, today courtesy of our good friend Pastor Robb Goodman:

Today’s message is a very exciting topic for me to teach on. The Lord has led me to speak on the subject of Prophecy since the beginning of the new year. Today, we will look at the subject matter of Revelation chapter 19 starting with first 10. The angel is speaking to the apostle John in the book of Revelation. What does the scripture truly mean to us? The Lord has been revealing great and mighty things to his teachers in these last days. We truly need to pay attention to what the spirit of God is speaking to the church worldwide & especially in America.

Just look and appreciate what President Trump and Elon Musk has brought about in proving all the government spending that has been Wasted by our tax dollars. I am personally very happy that all of this is coming about. Years ago I used to work in construction and remodeling.

We were remodeling and placing new cabinets in apartments in the very poor areas of Washington DC. THE PLACE WAS INFESTED WITH ROACHES. WHEN WE WOULD TAKE A CABINET OFF OF THE WALL, THE ROACHES WOULD SCRAMBLE FOR  COVER.

This is what the democrats are doing as they are being uncovered by what Mr Musk is finding out. The are running for cover. I have spoken many times when president Biden was in office, that judgment was coming to the Democratic Party, and those who are also Rinos.

We will dive into this subject of what this particular scripture that I cited above truly means. May this message bless you today as you listen.

May the Lord bless Noah’s newsletters in a powerful way. Please continue to pray for President Trump, his cabinet and his family every day.

The evil doers will not just quit and lay back and do nothing. Only  our prayers will stop them!

Pastor Robb Goodman:
Hello everyone, my name is Pastor Robb Goodman and I am the senior pastor here at Zion Freedom Fellowship in Maryland. Praise be to God we live in the blessed United States of America—praise be to God. I am so excited about what the Lord is doing in His church, in His body, and in the world, in our government right now. You know, I am so grateful right now for President Donald J. Trump.

I’m so grateful for JD Vance—what a phenomenal family man he is. He’s presently in France speaking at the AI convention, and glory be to God. God is so good; He is so, so, so, so good. And it was so cool to see JD Vance coming off the airplane that the Vice President travels in.

Glory be to God, it was so neat to see him coming off, and his wife and him were walking down the steps with the kids. He had the little daughter in his arms as he was holding on to the railing coming down the steps, and all the French people met him. It was just so cool to see that I am a proud American once again because our government is in the right hands, don’t you agree? Blessed be the name of the Lord—our God is so good, isn’t He? He is so good and so wonderful.

Well, today I have a wonderful message, and let me bring up the title of the message because I don’t want to say it incorrectly—praise be to God, God is so good. So the title of today’s message is “Worship God: The Spirit of Prophecy is the Testimony of Jesus.” So today we’re going to talk about what prophecies—prophecies that were written thousands of years ago, prophecies that are given through the prophets of present day and time—what does prophecy point to? What does it mean? What does this scripture mean? The Spirit of Prophecy is the testimony of Jesus.

We’re going to dive into that—not drive into it; that wouldn’t be too good. I’m recording this on Saturday, February 15th. Right now you’re listening to this on Sunday, February 16th, and as you’re watching this, I am presently holding my service in our building. So right now, presently, it just stopped snowing here in Westminster, and we’ve got the ground all covered with a little bit of snow.

We had a little bit of sleet at the end, and now I believe the temperature is starting to get warmer. Tomorrow it’s supposed to be in the 50s, which is really wonderful. So later today, I trust that this snow will be completely melted. Oh, I am ready for the spring—and when the spring comes, my wife’s roses will start to bloom. We’ve got beautiful roses—old antique garden roses.

Oh guys, if you could smell the smell of these roses, you would not believe it. I’m telling you, I am looking forward to spring; I’m tired of the cloudy days, I’m tired of the cold—but praise be to God. Thank God we have warmth in our heart. Why do we have warmth in our heart? Because Jesus lives inside of us.

Yeah, that’s why we’ve got warmth in our heart—because the Son of the Living God lives right here, right in our heart. Praise be to God—that’s something that you can get excited about. So all right, let’s dive into this scripture. I’m going to read it first to you. I’m going to read Revelation chapter 19, and I’m going to start at verse 9.

This is the angel speaking to the apostle John at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Then he said to me, “Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.” Wow—you know, the word of God is true. The word of God will make you free when you obey it.

When you plant the word of God in your heart, when you draw near to the Lord through fellowship in His word, God will reveal to you the deep mysteries of the things of God. The carnal-minded man cannot understand these things because the scripture says in Corinthians that they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned or judged. So you and I, being spiritual people, are not discerned by the natural mind. They look at us, they think we’re a bunch of cooks—you know, these Christians are a bunch of wackadoos—and of course persecution comes because of that, because they don’t understand us.

Okay, so these are the true sayings of God. Now this is John speaking, and I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that. I am your fellow servant and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.” The testimony of Jesus, again, is the Spirit of Prophecy. So we’re going to dive into that. We’re going to look at many different scriptures today—so buckle up, your seat belts, and sit down and pay close attention to what the Spirit of God is going to reveal to you today.

Father, I pray over this message right now. Holy Spirit, I ask You to speak through these lips today—speak through these lips that You have formed for Your honor and for Your glory. Lord, I submit my brain, my thoughts to You, Lord, that they would line up with what is coming forth from Your throne by the Spirit of God today. Ruach Kadesh—the Holy Spirit of the Living God—speak through me, speak directly to the people that are listening to this message no matter where they live, no matter when they’re listening to this message.

They might be listening; you might be listening to this message during the Great Tribulation. May God give you grace and understanding as you listen today, and may He encourage you if you are living during the Revelation time as you come across this message somehow in a miraculous way. I want to say to you that God is with you—He is with you; He is with you right now, and He’s beholding and seeing you, and He will guide you through this tumultuous time that you’re facing. Don’t be afraid—worship God, because these times that you’re living in right now have been spoken of through prophecy in the Book of Revelation and many other places in the word of God.

The prophet Daniel spoke about it; Isaiah and many, many prophets of God spoke about the tribulation period—and praise be to God, the Lord is with you. So Lord, bless this message today; hold it fast to the hearts of those that are listening right now, whether presently or far off in the future. Lord, minister to them—I pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen, and amen.

The angel makes a bold statement regarding the relationship between prophecy and Jesus Christ. Again, the angel makes a bold statement regarding the relationship between prophecy and Jesus Christ: the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy. And that’s from the New King James Version. The Book of Revelation is the book of prophecy given by Jesus Christ to His servant John, and you can read about that in Revelation 1:1.

The term “Revelation” refers to a revealing or the making known of something that was previously unknown. I’m going to repeat that again—if you’re taking notes: the term “Revelation” refers to revealing or the making known of something that was previously unknown. Revelation is like pulling back a veil to show what’s behind it, or unwrapping a present to see what is inside. When you get a Christmas gift, you don’t know what’s in that box—and we as kids would shake it, listen inside. We would get so excited, and sometimes when we tore the paper off we weren’t too excited—especially if it was a shirt or something that our aunts always gave to us.

We were wanting toys, right? Especially boys—you wanted GI Joe’s, you wanted trucks and cars, and Matchbox and race cars and that kind of cool stuff. I remember the best—best CH because I always loved—I always wanted to fly. I couldn’t fly, being a diabetic, but the best Christmas gift that I think I ever received was called a Verie Bird. It ran by batteries; it had little controls on it and it was a line that went to the center—it had a round piece—and that little helicopter’s blades would turn, and you would control it as it flew around. You could stop it and hover it.

Man, I’m telling you, that Christmas Day, I hardly ever got to play with that thing ’cause all my cousins were playing with it—girls, guys, all of them were playing with it when they were at my house. It was my Christmas present. I got to laugh, guys—I’m just happy today. You know, I’m happy to be with you. So the term “Revelation” refers to revealing or making known of something that was previously unknown. So let’s understand what Revelation is all about.

Okay, what is prophecy then? Simply put, prophecy is communication from God to mankind. Again, I’m going to say this: prophecy is communication from God to all mankind. The Lord wants us to know Him, and He wants us to hear His voice—praise God. The word of God is like a fire and like a hammer that breaks the rocks into pieces. That’s amazing—it’s like a fire and like a hammer that breaks the rock into pieces. And you know what? If you have a rock—a mountain standing before you, a mountain of granite that’s standing in your path—now listen to me, because many of us have those problems right now.

We can speak the word of God and it’s like a hammer—it’s going to hammer and hammer. And as long as you continue to speak it and you commission angels according to the word of God to remove that problem—and you’re walking by faith—that thing is going to be moved out of the way. It might take some time because things are happening in the spirit realm; they take time to manifest in the natural realm. You understand what I’m saying here? They take time to manifest in the natural realm. The Lord speaks to us through the written words of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

So the Lord ministers to us and speaks to us through the written words of God—and the scripture says the word of God is quick. It’s alive; it’s powerful; it is sharper than any two-edged sword. The word of God is living—that’s what that word “quick” means—it’s alive. The word of God, even though I’m reading it off my phone right now, the word of God is living as it comes to you out of my lips from the throne of God. It is alive and it’s ministering to you right now—in fact, some of you are being touched right now.

There are those of you that are having a hard time with migraine headaches, and the Lord is actually ministering to you right now. I command the migraine headaches to be gone in the mighty name of Jesus. I command you, in Jesus’ name, to go—from all that are having trouble with migraine headaches—in the mighty name of Jesus, I speak healing, blessing, and prosperity to you: spirit, soul, and body, in the mighty name of Jesus. Some of you are facing severe financial difficulties—in the mighty name of Jesus, I commission the angels of God to go forth and bring seed to be sown in Jesus’ name.

Cast your bread upon the waters, and it will come back to you on every wave. You’ve got to sow seeds with the word of God; obey God, do what He’s telling you to do through the Spirit of God. Amen. Get a drink of my coffee here—I love my wife’s coffee, thank you, darling. Okay, some prophecy can be speaking of future events, and other prophecy may not. Prophecy can also be personal. You know, as someone that ministers in prophetic utterance, sometimes when that anointing comes on me I see things— I see things about people’s problems, about their lives. The Lord has me give a word of knowledge or a word of wisdom that comes in prophetic form, and it will change the circumstance of that person’s life.

You know, my brother Bill Finch always says to me, “It’s good to have a prophet around.” I think that’s kind of funny, myself—praise be to God. Well, prophets were utilized as a mouthpiece for God; they listened to God, and they conveyed God’s message to the masses. Some examples of prophets are Elijah, Isaiah, Moses, and Jonah—that’s just a few of them. In the context of Revelation 19:10, which I just read, John has seen the fall of the evil world system called Babylon—that’s in Revelation 18. A great multitude in heaven is celebrating and singing praise to God because of that judgment.

Revelation 19:1-3: “Because it is now time for the wedding supper of the Lamb.” And by the way, the Lord spoke to me this morning and told me that He wants me to teach on that next week, and I’m going to give you a little nugget here. The Lord also spoke to me and said that every believer has a hope chest, and He said to me, “Do you know what that hope chest is?” He said that hope chest is all the righteous acts and works of faith that you have done and that you will one day be rewarded for. Man, that’s powerful—that is powerful and it is exciting.

So it’s time for the wedding supper of the Lamb, which is talked about in verses 6 through 8 of chapter 19, and the angel says to John, “Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb.” In Revelation 19:9, at this proclamation, John falls to worship at the feet of the angel who is communicating this prophecy, but the angel insists John rise to his feet, for he is but a fellow servant. Now, this is something I want to talk about here for just a few minutes, and we’re going to also look at Colossians 2 in a few minutes as well if you want to turn there in your Bible.

So prophecy can be abused—yes, it can be abused. The scripture tells us Jesus told us to be aware of false prophets. You know, they’re like sheep in wolves’ clothing—they’re ravening wolves; they’re out to deceive—they are false. And I’m going to say something to you right now: if you don’t understand the written word of God and the Spirit of the word, you can easily be deceived. You can easily be deceived. We do not want to give place to the spirit of deception.

When we first moved to the Westminster area years back, like in 2013, from Towson, Maryland, I was seeking the Lord, and the Lord spoke to me and revealed to me that there were two spirits that were ruling over this city. He told me one was the spirit of religion and the other one was the spirit of deception. And I thought, “Oh my God, so those were the two stronghold spirits that He warned me about.” So we’re still breaking down those strongholds right now. We’re still praying—my wife and I, the church—we pray about this area. We call this area saved and delivered. We’re waiting for revival to come; we’re trusting the Lord for His promises and the vision to be brought to pass for Zion Freedom Fellowship.

It hasn’t been easy—it’s not been easy since the time that we started this church in January of 2013. It hasn’t been easy. We’ve had people come and go, we’ve had people pass on and go to be with the Lord—wonderful members that were a part of our fellowship that we still miss today. But we can’t look behind to the things that have passed; we must reach forth to the things that are ahead and trust in the Living God. Praise be to God—He is so faithful, is He not? He is so, so, so, so faithful. But the angel again insists, “John, rise to your feet, for you are but a fellow servant.”

Let’s look at Colossians 2. Colossians chapter 2, and I’m going to start at Colossians 2:16: “So let no one judge you in food or drink or regarding a festival, or a new moon, or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.” Now here again, everything points to Jesus—everything points to Jesus. Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and the worship of angels. See, that’s what John did—John fell at the angel’s feet and went to worship him. Now why do you think John did that? I personally feel that John was super excited; I mean, he was in the holy presence.

You know, a lot of people say they see angels. I don’t know if I believe everybody when they say that, and there have been many times when we’ve sensed them. You know, I could sense that the holy presence of God in our church service was just so evident, and sometimes the Lord opened up my eyes and I could see them—a glimpse of that. And one time I had an angel appear to me in a hotel room when I was on a ventilator. I’m not going to get into that sometime—I might tell you that story—but what that angel said to me was just absolutely amazing. And once I got that word on my mouth and I was able to talk, I began to share with my wife, my brother Bill Finch, and Sister Rose who went to be with the Lord.

You know, I had to ask her some questions about what the angel said to me—I mean, it’s just an amazing story. I can’t get sidetracked, but the worship of angels intruding into those things which He has not seen—vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind and not holding fast to the Head from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with increase—that is from God. So again, we don’t want to be getting caught up in things that draw us away from pointing to Christ. If something’s pointing you to angels, don’t pay attention; everything that the word of God speaks points to Jesus Christ.

Now there’s different subtopics, and you know, things underneath other subjects that are important—we need to share them and teach them. But at the same time, we must be really careful not to be led astray. You know, years ago people would get really, really excited about going to conferences—conferences are wonderful to go to—but if you’re running from conference to conference like the faith folks used to do years ago—look, I learned so many wonderful things; I’m so happy that I learned from Brother or Papa Kenneth Hagin. I learned so many things; I went to school out there for some time, and you know, I mean, it’s just amazing stuff.

But again, we need to be pointed to Jesus. See, the Spirit of Prophecy is the testimony of Jesus. The spirit that is behind prophecy points us to look up to Christ—we must behold Him and steadfastly look to Him. We are formed in His image and in His likeness; that’s the only way the world is going to see Jesus. If His image is being formed or birthed in us, we’re being transformed by the renewing of our mind. Amen. We must be transformed—excuse me—by the renewing of our mind. It is absolutely the most important and necessary thing that keeps us on track with God.

If you’re following a movement but Jesus is not the center of that, you’re in trouble. Now I’m speaking some very serious things to you today, but as a man of God I must speak what the Lord commands me to speak. Amen. Thank you, Lord. So again, Colossians 2:16 says, “Let no one cheat you of your reward.” See, your reward is Christ. You want to be at the wedding supper of the Lamb one day and be allowed to go in because you’ve carried oil in your lamp like the wise virgins did. Amen—they were able to go in when the call of the bridegroom came.

Let no one cheat you of your reward by taking delight in false humility and the worship of angels intruding into those things which He is not seen—vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind. Okay, enough said about that—enough said about that. So John was a fellow servant; he said, “Don’t do this—the angel is only but a fellow servant.” Some people have the gift of discerning of spirits—the divine ability to see into the spirit realm; the ability to see angels, demons, and evil spirits; to see into heavenly things when the veil of the flesh is moved away so you can see into the spirit realm.

A true, humble person will not be puffed up about this. He will not become arrogant or think that he’s more spiritual than someone else. No, he will be more and more humble like Jesus. There was not a more humble man that ever walked the face of the earth than your Lord and Savior Jesus. Man, that—that’s just amazing to me. That’s just absolutely amazing. So the discerning of spirits is the divine ability to see into the spirit realm. Have you ever seen in the spirit realm before?

Now, there’s a lot of times that the Lord will show me visions, and I want to share something with you too. I had a dream that my wife and I were praying, and in the dream I was having a vision. And in the vision—this is really kind of hard to put together into words because I hope that you understand what I’m saying—I had a dream that I was praying with my wife. We were down here in our little living room in our sunroom, and we were praying. And I had a vision, and as we were praying I saw that a bridge was being built, kind of like—it was going up, kind of like an escalator.

I didn’t know if it was steps or if it was like a conveyor, but I saw angels coming down with these big boxes in their hands. Now, some of them returned back up to heaven again and they didn’t have boxes, and other ones had the same boxes in their hands that they came down with. And I’m telling you, I began to ask the Lord about it when I woke up, and He told me that those boxes were miracles. I believe we’re coming into a time of great miracles—a real time of great miracles—and prayer is going to bring about that bridge for angels to travel down with miracles. And the ones that went back up without any box in their hand, their miracle was delivered.

So believers need to be believing God for the miraculous, and I believe that in these days of great revival we’re going to see some powerful miracles. I believe I’ll see it in my body—most of you know that I have a prosthetic leg. I’ve been dealing with diabetes for many years and the complications thereof. Well, a sister in my church, Sister Annette, keeps saying that she sees me walking up and down the street outside, pushing my wheelchair with a prosthetic leg, sitting in the wheelchair and asking and inviting people to come and sit in the wheelchair. And as I would begin to push, they would be healed. And that is a powerful, powerful vision—I’m telling you, it’s a powerful vision.

My youngest son has seen visions of me walking through the doors to this house with my prosthetic leg and my one hand, and I throw it down to the ground—I have a new leg. Can God cause a new leg to grow? You’re better—you bet your sweet bippy, He can. Well, I haven’t said that term for many years—”you bet your sweet bippy,” like back in his 60s, right? Like Flip Wilson or something. Anyway—blessed be the name of the Lord—we are ready for the miraculous. Let’s continue to prepare ourselves and continue to get ready for the miraculous. Amen.

The Lord gives us these gifts for His divine person. Amen. Jesus is the substance of all prophecy—I’ll say that again: Jesus is the substance of all prophecy. Or to put another way, Jesus is the common theme among all prophecy, and all prophecy points to Jesus. This is something that I’m concerned about in the day that we live. Many people are calling themselves apostles and prophets. Some prophets get very popular very, very quickly, and they immediately come into public fame—just a year or two, boom—they are in the spotlight. Now, I’m not going to say anything bad about that, but again, I’m very careful what I hear.

I believe that the office of the prophet is one of the most difficult offices to be prepared to walk in. Lots of prophets go through hardship after hardship, after hardship—hard time after hard time—they struggle through a lot, but the Lord knows everything. I’m looking at my time real quick; I’ve got a little timer at the bottom of my screen as I’m recording. So Jesus is the substance of all prophecy. Jesus is the common theme among all prophecy that’s given—whether it’s a personal prophecy, whether it’s a man of God giving a prophecy of something that’s going to come to pass in the future—it points to Jesus. And if it doesn’t, see, the testimony of prophecy—well, I’m sorry—the Spirit of Prophecy is the testimony of Jesus. It gives testimony to Jesus Christ and His lordship. Can you agree with me with that? That is the main theme of this message today—that is the point I want to drive home to you right now.

All true prophecy bears witness about Jesus. I’ll say it again: all true prophecy bears witness about Jesus. Therefore, all prophecy should cause us to worship Jesus or Him alone. Wow—all prophecy should cause us to worship Jesus alone—not just get super excited, get all happy about what’s going to come. That’s good, you know—it’s good when the Lord shows you things of the future, but often times this is what I’m going to say, folks: often when prophecy comes, a spiritual battle comes right after because the enemy wants to drive that thing out of you and wants you to forget about it. Worship God, for the Spirit of Prophecy is the testimony of Jesus. Hallelujah.

Number three—the message or testimony given by Jesus is the essence of true prophecy. Jesus is the word, and no prophecy comes to us except through Him, ultimately pointing to God as the source of all true prophecy. All prophecy points to Jesus and brings true worship to Jesus alone. Wow—is that amazing or is that amazing? That is totally, absolutely amazing. Now, I want to take a few minutes before we close, and I want to talk to you about the gifts of the Spirit. Let’s turn to 1 Corinthians chapter 12.

1 Corinthians chapter 12—praise be to God. First Corinthians—oh, go back a little bit. Wait, wait—what happened to my—something got out of order with my, ah, here we go. Thank God Nate showed me how to do that. My scriptures on my Bible got all, like, they weren’t in order the way I know it, you know? So, what was the scripture that I just spoke out? 1 Corinthians chapter 12. And we’re going to talk a few minutes about the gifts of the Spirit. Now, let’s go to chapter 12; look at verse one.

Well, I’m looking behind my computer that I’m recording this message on right now, and I see a gift—a birthday gift that Brother Fabian Campo and his wife Kathy gave to me. And it’s an Oreo cup—it’s a big tall Oreo cup with a plastic straw on it, with a handle on it, that I can take to the Baltimore Oreo games with me. But this is something else that the Lord has dealt with me about. I can get wrapped up in baseball—I love baseball, I really do—but am I going to allow baseball to come in front of Jesus? I’ve really got to guard myself this coming season. Jesus has got to be first place in our lives. Jesus Christ has got to be first and foremost in our lives.

He’s got to be—there’s no other way to true victory. There’s no other way that you and I are going to be transformed by His power unless we truly submit to His lordship, you know? We have an easy time saying, “Jesus is Lord, Jesus is Lord, Jesus is Lord,” but is He really the Lord of our lives? And do we put Him first? Still struggling to put Him first—come on, don’t think you’re super spiritual and you’re already arrived. If you think that you’ve already arrived, the enemy has got you fooled—big time, you’re fooled, you’re deceived—and unfortunately deception will bring destruction in your life.

Well, praise be to God. All right, let’s look at the scripture: 1 Corinthians chapter 12, and we’re going to look at verse one. And this is the apostle Paul speaking now: “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant.” Now, we know what the word “ignorant” means—we don’t have any knowledge of what we can be stupified by—and there are Christians that think that spiritual gifts are everything. No, they’re not. They help us, they aid us, and they bring us understanding and words and miracles and faith and things like that, but it is not everything to our spiritual walk.

We must allow Jesus to be the Lord of our lives—even in this area. I don’t want you to be ignorant. You know that you were Gentiles carried away to these dumb idols; however, you were—therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God may curse, or be cursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. There are diversities or differences of gifts, but the same Spirit operates them through us. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord; and there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all, or for the whole body. The manifestation of the Spirit is given to profit the entire body of Christ—it ministers to us, it builds us up, it strengthens our faith. You know, when prophets—or even when someone has a word of prophecy for you—it builds your faith; it points to Jesus. If it’s pointing you away from Jesus, then something inside your heart is not going to want to receive that. You know, I’ve heard many pastors in my time say things that just went, “H,” and, uh, Brother Bill Finch and I—we both attended a church years ago where a man said something that did not sit right with us. We both looked at each other; we both knew right then and there that something was out of order.

We must be very careful, for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit. Now, what is the word of wisdom? The word of wisdom is a word that comes from God that typically has to deal with a future event that’s right around the corner—typically, I say, not always. It may have to do with something that you’re dealing with at work, and God gives you supernatural wisdom and insight about how to fix that problem. Oftentimes, the Lord wants us to wait on Him and allow Him to work on our behalf. Don’t try to fix things in your own strength or your own power—it is all by the grace of God, for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit.

To another, the word of knowledge through the same Spirit—the word of knowledge is a word that typically comes through another person. I had one earlier in the message; I felt as if I was speaking to someone that might be watching this in the future during the Great Tribulation period—we’re not in it yet, but people might see this message one day and be encouraged. And whoever I was speaking to—only the Lord knows—but we as God’s servants obey the word of God. The other word of knowledge was given about headaches—migraine headaches—may have been something else that I don’t recall right now, so the word of knowledge is extremely important. That’s what we typically would say: “Man, that guy read my mail!” You know, how did he know that? It is by the Spirit of God; there’s no way he could have known it unless the Lord had revealed it to him. Amen.

To another, by the same Spirit, there is a supernatural gifting of faith that comes in a time of great need—it gives you divine enablement, enablement to do something miraculous for another. Gifts of healing, by the same Spirit—we all know what gifts of healing are to another: the working of miracles. Wow, to another—prophecy. There it is again: the Spirit of Prophecy is the testimony of Jesus. All prophecy must point to Jesus and glorify Him. If it doesn’t, push it away. If you get a word from someone and it doesn’t bear witness with your spirit, submit it to the Lord. Don’t always cast it out, but submit it to the Lord—say, “Lord, I understand that something doesn’t sound right about that; I give it to You and just lay it at Your feet.” And He will show you as time passes by; He will show you what He meant by that, and you’ll be like, “Oh, okay, now I understand what that was.” Amen.

To another, prophecy; to another, discerning of spirits—now, discerning of spirits is the divine ability, as I said in my message a little while ago, to see beyond the natural realm and to see angels, to see demons, to see things in the spiritual realm that typically you normally would not know or see. That is amazing to me—it’s amazing. To another, different kinds of tongues—you know, I know there have been times when I’ve been speaking in tongues, and you know, all of a sudden that dialect or language changes—it really changes, and that’s really interesting to me, because the Spirit of God, when Romans 8 tells us that when we pray in the Spirit we are praying the perfect will of God into existence, praise God.

To another, interpretation of tongues: some people have that divine ability to interpret what is spoken by or through tongues, and then this is what He says in verse 11: “But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.” So it’s truly the divine will of God for us to have spiritual gifts. You know, don’t believe this when people tell you the spiritual gifts are not needed anymore—oh, we have the full canon of scripture. No, you still need the gifts of the Spirit—you still need it, you still need it. Verse 12: “For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that body being many, are one body.” So also is Christ—praise be to God.

Well, I hope and I pray that you have gotten something out of this message today, and before I close I would like to pray over you. We’re at 51 minutes right now, so it’s about time for us to wrap up and to close. Amen. All right, if you’re watching this message today and maybe some of this made sense—maybe you caught part of it—maybe some of you didn’t, or some of it you did not catch—well, if you’ve not been born again by the Holy Spirit of the Lord, if you don’t have the Lord living on the inside of you, there’s no way that you can naturally in your mind understand the words that I was sharing.

And yet, at the same time, you feel a hunger to know more about God; you want to know more about Him. Well, I’m going to invite you to pray a prayer with me—a very simple prayer where you ask Jesus to come into your heart. And the scripture says if you believe in your heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead, and confess Him with your mouth as Lord, you shall be saved. “Saved” means to have your sins washed away. You now become a member of the family of God. Jesus says you’re born again, and you understand the spiritual things in a new way. If you want to be born again and you want to know Jesus as your Lord and your Savior, pray this prayer with me.

Say, “Heavenly Father, I believe in my heart that You sent Your Son Jesus into the world. He was perfect; He did not ever commit one sin, and yet He offered Himself as the Lamb of God to die upon that cross so that I could become a member of Your family. Jesus, I confess right now that God raised You from the dead, and I believe that in my heart. Have Your way with my life, Lord Jesus; have Your way with my life. I want to be a part of Your family. I want to know that—I know that—I know that I belong to You. Jesus, come into my heart; let my name be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. I don’t want the fear of death in my life anymore. Jesus, wash me of all of my sins, wash me clean with Your precious blood; make me a new believer in the name of Jesus. I welcome You, Jesus—come into my heart and make me a new believer in Christ Jesus. Have Your way, Lord—have Your way with me. I love You, Jesus; I love You so much. Make me a brand new creature in Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ name, amen.”

Well, if you just prayed that prayer with me, I want you to let me know. You can contact me by email at [email protected]. Again, that email address is [email protected], and if you write me an email and let me know, it will teach you and help you to grow spiritually and draw closer to God. Now, if you live in another part of the world, I may not be able to help you find a church, but again, the Holy Spirit will help you find the right church that you can go to. I know a lot of pastors in different countries, and they would be willing to help if you need a church and you’re close to them.

Oh, blessed be the name of Jesus—may God bless you and keep you, and make you to be wise in Him as you grow in the knowledge of the Lord in Jesus’ name. Amen. Now, those of you that are believers and members of my church, and you have been watching my messages for many, many years—may God bless you; may God have taught you great insight today and knowledge about the Spirit of Prophecy. Worship God, for the Spirit of Prophecy is the testimony of Jesus. Amen—praise be to God. Next week, if the Lord leads me differently—but if not, He’s already shared with me that I need to teach about the wedding supper of the Lamb. I don’t believe I’ve ever taught on that before, so that should be quite interesting.

May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you; may the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and may the Lord grant you His everlasting, great shalom—His great peace—in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen, and amen. If you feel led to donate to this ministry, you can do it through PayPal; in our description it’ll tell you how to do that. We invite you and welcome you to do that if you’d like to sow a seed in this ministry—we’d love to have you be a part of it. May God bless you, and may God make you strong as you serve Him this new and upcoming week, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen, and amen.

God bless you everyone—love you so much. This is Pastor Rob Goodman in Maryland, in the United States of America. We love you—keep praying for President Trump; keep praying for the corruption to get cleaned out of our government, and let the Lord have His way with the United States of America so that we can be the strongest nation in the world and the most godly nation in the world as well. In Jesus’ name, amen. Love you all very much—y’all take good care of yourself. Okay, bye-bye. I love you.

Amos 9:13: A Message For Right Now?

Our very own MWinger (longtime writer for WLT Report) sent me this Bible verse this morning and I had to share it with all of you.

I have never seen or read this before, but it sure does feel like a message for our world right now, especially right now at the beginning of the Second Trump Administration.

No, I'm not saying Amos was written about Trump, but it sure does seem to fit perfectly, doesn't it?

From The Message translation:

“Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree.
“Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim,
one thing fast on the heels of the other.
You won’t be able to keep up.
Everything will be happening at once—
and everywhere you look, blessings!
Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills.”

If that doesn't describe what's happening right now, I don't know what does!

And now, even though it's Saturday, I'll leave you with a couple more great Gospel messages.

Please enjoy:

SUNDAY GOSPEL: Louie Giglio, Epicenter

ALL CONSUMING FIRE!

I know it's Wednesday and not Sunday, but I've got a great message to share with you.

If you checked in during Easter and then are saying "now what?" I want to tune you into this.

It's a new series from Louie Giglio called All Consuming Fire and it's a deep dive into the Book of Revelation.

I'm telling you this is some of the most Bible-packed 42 minutes you will see.

Really awesome stuff in here, and since this is my website I can choose to bring it to you on this Wednesday! 😁

I really hope you enjoy this and if you do please share it with someone that also might like to hear it.

Enjoy:
