Kamala Harris Gives Weak Response To Protesters Burning American Flag

Kamala Harris on Thursday gave a weak response to pro-Palestine protesters who took down an American flag and defaced several historical monuments in Washington D.C. on Wednesday.

In her response, Kamala wrote, “Yesterday, at Union Station in Washington, D.C., we saw despicable acts by unpatriotic protesters and dangerous hate-fueled rhetoric.”

“I condemn any individuals associating with the brutal terrorist organization Hamas, which has vowed to annihilate the State of Israel and kill Jews,” added Harris.

Sam Markstein, the national political director of the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) in response to Harris’ statement told Fox News, “It took her a full day to issue a weak condemnation of the pro-Hamas mobs that burned American flags and chanted vile antisemitic slogans at Jews in Washington, D.C. – with zero mention of any concrete action she would take to hold them accountable.”

Nearly 24 hours later, we have a statement from Kamala Harris on yesterday’s Hamas chaos. Last night Republican lawmakers went to Union Station to put the American flag up back where it belongs after it was taken down, burned and replaced by the Hamas flag.

Yesterday, at Union Station in Washington, D.C. we saw despicable acts by unpatriotic protestors and dangerous hate-fueled rhetoric.

Vice President Kamala Harris’ “weak condemnation” of Wednesday’s anti-Israel protests, absence from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s congressional address and sympathetic rhetoric regarding Gaza shows the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee will be a “far worse” partner for Israel than President Joe Biden, a GOP Jewish advocacy group claims.

“If you thought Joe Biden was bad on issues of top concern for pro-Israel voters, Kamala Harris is far worse,” Sam Markstein, Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) national political director, told Fox News Digital in a statement.

“It took her a full day to issue a weak condemnation of the pro-Hamas mobs that burned American flags and chanted vile antisemitic slogans at Jews in Washington, D.C. – with zero mention of any concrete action she would take to hold them accountable. It should be easy to condemn antisemitism – the real question is what she will do to confront it, and her statement speaks for itself,” Markstein added. “Clearly, her priorities are not our priorities – and if elected, we can expect more of the same.”
