Jamie Foxx gave what details he could remember of the medical incident he endured last year that left him hospitalized for more than two weeks.

The Oscar-winning actor chatted with concerned fans outside a restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona, where he attempted to provide answers about what happened when he suffered a “medical complication” more than one year ago.

“Look, April 11 last year, bad headache, asked my boy for an Advil,” Foxx said before snapping his fingers. “I was gone for 20 days.”

Corinne Foxx revealed on April 12 that her father was recovering from a medical complication. “Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” she wrote on social media at the time. “We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

Foxx has yet to disclose the medical condition he suffered.

“I don’t remember anything,” Jamie said to the fans at the restaurant. “So they told me – I’m in Atlanta – they told me, my sister and my daughter, they took me to the first doctor and they said… ‘nah,’ gave me a cortisone shot.

PRIOR REPORT:

Jamie Foxx Makes First Speech In Months: “I Was In A Hot Tunnel, But I Didn’t See A Light…”

What’s the one thing they tell you when you’re dead?

GO TOWARDS THE LIGHT!

Unfortunately for Jamie Foxx, he reported in his first speech back after his mysterious hospitalization and reported stroke that he was definitely in a tunnel, but it was very hot, he saw the Devil, and he did not see any “light”.

Oh my!

Let me back up a little bit in case you don’t know this full story.

Earlier this year, Jamie Foxx was hospitalized and many sources reported he had suffered a severe stroke.

It was feared he was yet another “vaxxident” victim.

But the story then took some twists and turns as his daughter reported he was just fine and was playing pickleball at their house.

So we’ve all been quite confused and wondering about how he is truly doing.

After months of speculation, Foxx finally emerged to accept a Critics Choice award and in doing so, took the stage for the first time in months.

And the speech did NOT disappoint….

First, the award-winning actor clarified, “I’m not a clone, I’m not a clone. I know a lot of people saying that I was cloned out there.”

Fair enough.

We never reported anything like that, but we did have many questions.

But then it got serious and a bit awkward as he said the following:

“I saw the tunnel. I didn’t see the light! It was hot in that tunnel, so I didn’t know where I was going. Was I going to the right place? I saw the devil.”

It seemed to me like he was serious when he started that quote and then played it up more and more towards the end, so I’m not sure how serious to take the whole thing.

I’ll let you be the judge, watch here:

Fox News had more details:

In his first public speech since suffering a “medical complication” in April, actor Jamie Foxx addressed his difficult road to recovery, admitting he was immobilized for a time.

“I’ve been through something. I’ve been through some things. You know, it’s crazy, I couldn’t do that six months ago. I couldn’t actually walk,” Foxx said on Monday, upon receiving the Vanguard Award at the Celebration of Cinema & Television: Honoring Black, Latino and AAPI Achievements put on by The Critics Choice Association.

After becoming emotional, he took a moment to gather himself, then joked, “I’m not a clone. I’m not a clone. I know a lot of people was saying I was cloned out there. Boy, y’all ain’t s—.”

“It feels good to be here. I cherish every single minute now. It’s different … I wouldn’t wish what I went through on my worst enemy,” he admitted. “‘Cause it’s tough … when it’s almost over.”

He continued with another joke, saying, “I saw the tunnel. I didn’t see the light. It was hot in that tunnel … ‘S—, am I going to the right place?'”

JAMIE FOXX SURPRISES WOMAN IN CHICAGO BY RETRIEVING LOST PURSE, SHE SAYS ACTOR IS ‘STRONG AND WELL’

“I had to do a little stint in Chicago for some things to get things right. My sister and my daughter were so great in not letting anyone know what happened. And I can only say you need someone like that in your corner,” he said of Deidra and Corinne. “No one knew where I was. No one knew what was going on. And I had to go to this facility so I could work out a little bit.”

Hate to see the Masonic symbolism with Foxx:

Here’s more from our prior reporting:

NEW VIDEO: Is This Jamie Foxx?

We just got a new video from Jamie Foxx.

But is it really him?

The picture above is a freeze frame from that video and to be completely fair it was taken when the man in the video was intentionally doing cross-eyes to prove a point.

But, the question remains: is the person in this video Jamie Foxx?

I’ve got the full video for you below, but first see this:

The man on the left is Jamie Foxx from a Hollywood event.

Dude looks good.

The person on the right is allegedly Jamie Foxx speaking to the world for the first time since his medical troubles.

Same guy?

Heck, it might be.

Just bad lighting and no makeup?

I don’t know.

Why is his face narrower in the new video?

Do faces get more narrower in bad lighting?

I don’t know.

I’m just asking questions!

You tell me:

Now let’s watch the entire video for context..

As we previously reported earlier today:

Actor and singer Jamie Foxx has spoken to the public for the first time after being hospitalized several months ago after reportedly having a stroke.

Foxx in an Instagram video stated, “I know a lot of people were waiting or wanting to hear updates but to be honest with you, I just didn’t want you to see me like that, man.”

The star actor continued “I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie, television show. I didn’t want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was gonna make it through.”

The actor then addressed rumors that claimed he was paralyzed and stated “As you can see, the eyes are working, the eyes are working just fine. I’m not paralyzed, but I went to hell and back, and my road to recovery had some potholes as well.”

Despite Foxx saying his eyes were working there appeared to be something off about them.

Take a look:

Foxx didn’t address what led to his hospitalization which leads many people to believe the Covid-19 vaccine led to his hospitalization.

Per Fox 5 Atlanta:

After months away from the spotlight, Jamie Foxx is opening up for the first time about the health challenge that landed him in a hospital in Atlanta.

The 55-year-old actor, singer and comedian posted an emotional message on social media overnight.

Foxx, looking visibly thinner, said he never wanted anyone to see him with tubes coming from his body. Jamie also said in the video that he went to hell and back.

He also said that he knew a lot of people have been waiting for updates about his condition but “to be honest with you, I just didn’t want you to see me like that.”

Per CNN:

Jamie Foxx is speaking out for the first time since he was hospitalized in April for an undisclosed medical condition.

The award-winning actor and musician posted an Instagram video update for fans overnight on Friday.

In the video, Foxx addresses that there has been a lot of speculation as to what led to his hospitalization although he did not reveal details of what happened.

“I know a lot of people were waiting or wanting to hear updates but to be honest with you, I just didn’t want you to see me like that, man,” he said. “I want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie, television show. I didn’t want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was gonna make it through.”

Foxx credited his daughter and sister for saving his life.

“To them, to God, to a lot of great medical people, I’m able to leave you this video,” he said. “I cannot tell you how great it feels to have your family kick in in such a way, and y’all know they kept it airtight, they didn’t let nothing out, they protected me, and that’s what I hope that everyone could have in moments like these.”

Foxx has been spotted in Chicago in recent weeks, where he had undergone medical treatment at a facility that specializes in rehabilitation care for patients with physical impairments, brain or spine injuries.

Do we have a Damar Hamlin situation going on here?

Here was his last appearance:

Is This Jamie Foxx?

Much like we’ve been tracking the Madonna story, we’ve also been tracking the Jamie Foxx story.

Both stars severely injured according to reports.

Both unclear exactly why.

Vaxxident?

I believe it is common knowledge both were vaxxed in order to keep working.

So we’re watching both stories with great interest.

In the case of Jamie Foxx, he hasn’t been seen in months despite vague posts on his social media claiming he’s great and out playing Pickleball.

Is he really?

We’re watching.

And just yesterday he popped back up.

Is this a Damar Hamlin situation or is this really Jamie Foxx?

You decide.

So….here you go.

Is this Jamie Foxx?

Compare to this post which claims to show his body double:

What do you think?

Then we had him allegedly on a boat yesterday in grainy, hard to see video.

Is this Jamie Foxx?

You tell me:

Jamie Foxx Makes First Public Appearance Since Hospitalization?

Has Jamie Foxx made his first public appearance since being hospitalized in April?

“Boat life. Celebrating summer with @brownsugarbbn. Stay blessed!” Foxx said in his first tweet since March 14th.

TMZ obtained footage of what appears to be the actor and singer making his first public outing in months.

In the video, Foxx appears to be waving to fans from a boat on the Chicago River Sunday afternoon.

Here’s the footage TMZ released:

TMZ wrote:

Jamie Foxx’s road to recovery seems to be going very well, ’cause the guy’s out and about in public now … with TMZ getting the first glimpse of him since his hospitalization.

Check out this footage we’ve obtained, showing a cheerful JF cruising along on a mega-boat on the Chicago River Sunday afternoon … looking pretty vibrant, and happy to see fans as well. A neighboring vessel passed him by and gave him a big hurrah … Jamie waved back.

He appeared to be accompanied by a few others onboard as well … and at first glance, it seems there were some members of his family around. They’ve been at his side throughout this entire ordeal — and we know they’ve been visiting him too as he rehabs in ChiTown.

The difference here … we’re finally getting a clear view of Jamie in the flesh, which is encouraging. Frankly, there’s been a lot of speculation about his condition … and the longer he went out of the public eye, the greater the conjecture would grow. Folks have been worried.

Now, hopefully, all those rumors can be put to rest … because the guy seems to be well on his way to achieving full health again. Still no word on what exactly happened to him that sent him to the ER in the first place, but the point is — he seems primed for a comeback.

Here’s another positive update TMZ can provide … we’ve seen more footage of Jamie spending a night out on the town in the Chicago area Saturday, getting active on his feet, no less, and looking to be in great spirits there too.

Jamie Foxx’s condition since reportedly suffering a stroke has been a mystery the past few months.

Cause of Jamie Foxx Stroke Revealed?

WLTReport has noted the conflicting reports of Foxx being partially paralyzed versus playing pickleball.

Obviously, one of those reports had to be false.

Jamie Foxx Partially Paralyzed And Blind…Or Playing Pickleball?

Honestly, this footage probably won't quell rumors that Foxx suffered a very serious medical complication.

The video isn't exactly a 'crystal-clear' image of Foxx and he's also wearing sunglasses.

WLTReport noted a spotting of Jamie Foxx's body double on the set of “Back in Action."

Jamie Foxx’s Body Double Spotted On Set

So, will this 'footage' of Foxx hush the circulating rumors about his health?

I don't believe so.

"Jamie Foxx filmed NOT walking, NOT talking, and only waving with one arm, all of which is consistent with a stroke victim who still has motor control over half his body, but not so much the other half. We hope he heals quickly, but those who think this is proof that he's all fully recovered now are kidding themselves," said Mike Adams, aka "The Health Ranger."

Many social media users aren't convinced Jamie Foxx is fully recovered from his hospitalization.

We've seen speculation online that the video features a body double, clone, or that it's AI.

We don't know what's going on.

The conflicting, confusing reports the past few months have only fueled further speculation and rumors.
