SCOTUS Justice SCHOOLS Jack Smith’s Office!

Prosecuting President Trump would be a double-edged sword for the deep state and the political establishment.

Why the powers that be haven’t caught onto this is beyond me, maybe they think they’re truly untouchable, maybe they’re just so consumed with TDS that they are this short-sighted.

Justice Samuel Alito recently schooled one of Jack Smith’s prosecutors regarding Presidential immunity and posed some very obvious and elementary arguments to the attorney.

During the exchange with Jack Smith’s attorney Micheal Dreben, Alito explained that if Presidential immunity is stripped then most American Presidents would be facing charges.

Justice Alito provided the examples of FDR, Barack Obama, and George W. Bush. Listen to the exchange below:

According to Fox News, Alito also asked the DOJ attorney:

“Now if an incumbent who loses a very close, hotly contested election knows that a real possible nullity after leaving office is not that the president is going to be able to go off into a peaceful retirement, but that the president may be criminally prosecuted by a bitter political opponent.

Will that not lead us into a cycle that destabilizes the functioning of our country as a democracy?

The Vigilant Fox presented some of the examples provided by Justice Alito:

“George W. Bush could have been charged with lying to Congress to induce the U.S. to enter the war in Iraq. Barack Obama could have faced charges of murder for the deaths of U.S. citizens abroad caused by drone strikes.

Franklin D. Roosevelt could have been charged under conspiracy against civil rights (18 USC 241) for his decision to intern Japanese Americans during World War II.”

Breitbart presented yet another question Justice Alito posed to Micheal Dreben:

“If a president has the authority to pardon himself before leaving office and the D.C. Circuit is right that there is no immunity from prosecution, won’t the predictable result be that presidents on the last couple of days of office are going to pardon themselves from anything that they might have been conceivably charged with committing?”
