“I don’t know when. I’m happy to debate him,” added Biden.
In response to Biden’s statement, Trump’s campaign manager, Chris LaCivta, wrote to X, “Let’s set it up!”

President Joe Biden said Friday he is “happy” to debate former President Donald Trump, though did not specify as to when.
The comment was made during a one-on-one interview with radio host Howard Stern, who asked if the president had plans to debate his 2024 opponent.
“I am somewhere,” Biden responded, the first time he’s indicated he will debate Trump this election cycle. “I don’t know when. I’m happy to debate him.”
After Biden’s remark on Stern’s show, Trump’s campaign manager Chris LaCivita responded on social media.
“Ok,” he wrote on X, “let’s set it up !”

Joe Biden sprang a surprise on the Washington press corps on Friday when he gave an interview to the radio host and shock jock Howard Stern.
The president also made news. Asked if he would debate Donald Trump before the election in November, as the presumptive Republican nominee (who skipped all debates in the primary) has demanded, Biden said: “I am, somewhere, I don’t know when, but I am happy to debate him.”
The Biden campaign confirmed to reporters that Biden was willing to face Trump in person.
The conversation was announced minutes before the interview began on air. Reporting the unscheduled stop in New York, the White House pool report said: “At 10.05am, the motorcade made an unscheduled stop at Sirius XM studio in midtown Manhattan.”
