We have been saying it since the beginning—this entire trial is a scam.
Well, all of the ongoing trials and litigation against President Trump are scams, but we framed them much more as political witch hunts and false allegations.
What we don’t touch on nearly enough is how many of these trials don’t even have actual crimes at their core.
In at least three of the cases, no crime occurred. President Trump didn’t defraud any banks—they all got their money plus interest.
The 45th President had the full authority to declassify those documents—there were no classified documents, and, thus, no crime occurred.
Alvin Bragg’s so-called ‘hush money’ case doesn’t deviate from this tradition either. It turns out that giving someone money to shut up about an affair isn’t a crime. Neither is making someone sign an NDA.
At least one mainstream media source is pointing out this very simple reason why Alvin Bragg has no case, but more on that later.
Here’s what everyone is saying about this obviously fraudulent case:
BREAKING: Law professor Jonathan Turley is in “utter disbelief" that the Trump "hush money" case is being presented in a courtroom.

The New York Post recently featured this op-ed about the lack of substance in Bragg’s case:
What are pejoratively described as “hush money” deals are actually legal and commonplace.
They are less promiscuously described as non-disclosure agreements. Far from being unlawful, NDAs are a staple of civil litigation settlements in the United States.
Look, if scheming to suppress information were a crime, Bragg’s case would be very simple: He would have charged Trump with scheming to suppress information.
Former Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy wrote: “Alvin Bragg‘s case against Trump rests on the ludicrous legal premise that a candidate must use *campaign* funds to make personal hush money payments.
Yet if Trump had done that, they’d undoubtedly be going after him for that. This isn’t the pursuit of justice, it’s a political persecution that is tearing our country apart.”

Free speech advocate Philip Anderson broke down the public sentiment regarding President Trump’s so-called ‘hush money’ trial:
“The overwhelmingly majority of Americans see no crime in the New York hush money Trump Trial and only 31% say that Mr Trump acted unethical.
If they convict Donald Trump using this absolute Joke of a case then the Justice system in this country is finished.
And everyone will see Biden’ DOJ and the rest of Biden’s government and state allies as the tyrants and election meddlers that they are.”

Left-wing Newsweek provided a different perspective on Bragg’s biggest asset in the case. Notice that this is a particularly weak ‘strength’:
On Wednesday, Roiphe, a law professor and former Manhattan ADA, shared her thoughts on the former president’s case in a Politix podcast episode.
She explained that the prosecutor’s “strength” is that Trump is not “some run of the mill” businessman, adding that the former president’s “conduct is totally unique” due to the fact he is a public figure and a former president.
