Fani Willis’ Office EXPOSED As “High Risk” In Audit Report

The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office has been exposed as “high risk” in a new financial audit by an independent firm—yet more bad news for Fani Willis.

According to an audit report produced by independent firm Cherry Bekaert, Willis’ office has been flagged as ‘high risk’ for its unusual spending practices.

Additionally, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department was also flagged as ‘high risk’ by the firm.

Willis has come under fire for her office’s spending practices after her improper relationship with attorney Nathan Wade was revealed.

Congressional investigators are now also probing Willis’ use of public funds. Here are the latest legal and career troubles plaguing Willis:

The report added that Willis’ office had used prosecutorial discretion in purchasing decisions and that there was reduced accountability over the purchasing tendencies of some constitutional offices and elected offices, leading to an increased risk of damage to the reputation of the county.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani asked: “Why has Georgia and/or the FBI not issued a search warrant for DA Fani Willis and her (alleged) lover Nathan Wade for (allegedly) using the extra and unnecessary approximately $700,000 in state and federal money on (alleged) multiple vacations?”

The Hill previously reported:

House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) has subpoenaed Fulton County (Ga.) District Attorney Fani Willis for information on spending of federal funds by her office, intensifying a fight between the Democratic prosecutor and congressional Republicans seeking information about her investigation into former President Trump.
