MSM sources are claiming that yet another Trump attorney has quietly left the 45th President’s legal team.
According to those sources, Evan Corcoran, who is now reportedly a witness against President Trump as part of the ongoing classified documents case against him, is no longer representing the former President.
However, we are seeing conflicting reports regarding Corcoran’s departure, with senior Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung claiming differently.
Cheung claims that Corcoran is still working with the former President and his legal counsel.
So what is going on here? Is the reporting by CNN and others simply another case of fake news, or did they get it right?

CNN claimed:
Corcoran’s quiet exit from Trump’s orbit could pose a significant issue for the former president, with the potential for prosecutors to call him as a key witness if the case goes to trial.
He also was one of the last attorneys on Trump’s defense team to have handled his federal investigations from the beginning, as his legal peril skyrocketed.
One pro-MAGA account shared a previous legal development and asked why Corcoran has quietly and abruptly changed his tune.

Washington Examiner spoke with Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung, who explained:
Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung told the Washington Examiner Corcoran “remains on the legal team and is continuing to help fighting the Biden Trial witch-hunts,” adding, “Any assertion otherwise is fake news peddled by uninformed sources and untruthful reporting that seeks to leak disinformation and misinformation because the American people know Democrats and their media allies have completely destroyed the justice system.”
