Major League Baseball Legend ENDORSES President Trump!

I don’t know much about sports, but I do know that the New York Mets suck—the Yankees are one of the greatest franchises in sports history.

To the naysayers and Mets fans, I say this one simple thing: count the rings!

Legendary, retired New York Yankees pitcher Mariano Rivera has formally endorsed President Trump, a fellow New Yorker, for the 2024 Presidential race.

Rivera is a longtime friend of the former President and even served as a member of President Trump’s administration as Co-Chairman of the White House Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition.

In a statement to the media, Rivera said: “President Trump, he’s my friend. I can’t deny that. Before he was the president, he was my friend. Because of that, I’m going to vote for him.”

I love the simplicity and earnestness in that statement. There was no embellishing, no euphemisms, no hiding the truth; Mariano was just getting right down to business, as he always has.

Daily Mail outlined the long-standing relationship between President Trump and Rivera:

Rivera, 54, has been a staunch supporter of Trump since the reality television star first ran as the Republican nominee in 2016.

In fact, the two have been friends dating back to the Hall of Famer’s playing days.

According to Breitbart, during the radio broadcast where Rivera announced his endorsement of President Trump, WABC radio host Sid Rosenberg had this to say:

“I’m very afraid, Mariano, for New York and this world … I’ve got a 19-year-old daughter, she’s gonna turn 20 on Sunday, and a 15-year-old son, and I think we need President Trump to win, or it could be very, very ugly.
