New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been the subject of an ongoing investigation for months now.

First, the investigation was centered around allegations of sexual assault, now the investigation has a renewed focus surrounding accusations of corruption.

The FBI is now probing whether or not Eric Adams received undue compensation in the form of flight upgrades from Turkish Airlines.

Public officials and bureaucrats should not be engaging in any pay-to-play schemes or any form of bribery—including the acceptance of gifts.

However, are concerns surrounding corruption and sexual assault really the reason Adams is being investigated by federal authorities?

Of course not, the investigations are all curiously back-t0-back—similar to the witch hunt prosecutions President Trump is facing right now.

If these allegations weren’t bogus, or, at the very least, known by federal authorities, sanctioned, and ignored they wouldn’t have occurred so close together in an almost concurrent fashion.

Sources have said at least part of the investigation involves whether donations from Turkey were traded for political favors, including possible pressure exerted on the New York Fire Department after a delay with the operating certificate of the new Turkish consulate.
