Biden Going After Eric Adams? FBI Seizes New York City Mayor’s Electronic Devices

Never say the democrats aren’t willing to go after their own.

They’ll sell each other out the moment things get too hot.

That may be what’s happening right now as the FBI has New York City mayor Eric Adams in their sights.

The feds just confiscated all of Adams’ electronic devices, including his phones and an iPad.

Apparently this all goes back to a 2021 investigation into whether or not Adams received illegal donations from the Turkish government for his campaign.

This seems odd only because when democrats are in power, they tend to get away with basically everything.

I wonder why Joe Biden isn’t protecting Adams.

Adams has been quite critical of the Biden Administration lately do to their mishandling of the southern border, which has resulted in an influx of migrants to New York City.

I wonder if this is related…

Fox News has the details:

New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ electronic devices were seized by the FBI this week as part of the investigation into whether his 2021 campaign received illegal donations from the Turkish government.

FBI agents with a court-authorized warrant approached Adams on the street and collected his devices, including two phones and an iPad.

“After learning of the federal investigation, it was discovered that an individual had recently acted improperly. In the spirit of transparency and cooperation, this behavior was immediately and proactively reported to investigators,” Adams’ campaign attorney Boyd Johnson said in a statement. “The Mayor has been and remains committed to cooperating in this matter. On Monday night, the FBI approached the mayor after an event.

Here’s more on the investigation from the New York Post:

The agents approached Adams, 63, on the street and asked his security team to step aside, a source told The Times.

The agents then got into Adams’ SUV with him and executed a court-authorized warrant to seize his devices.

The electronics were returned to the mayor within a few days, the sources said.

“The manner in which he had his phones taken away in public seems targeted against the mayor in response to his stance on the immigration crisis,” a person with knowledge of the investigation told The Post.

It came a week after Adams had to abruptly and dramatically bail on a slate of White House immigration meetings to fly back to the Big Apple when FBI agents raided the home of his lead fundraiser Brianna Suggs — almost as soon as he had landed in Washington DC.

Could it be that Biden doesn’t like Adams speaking out against his failed policies?
