Actor Who Was Edited Out Of Trailer Over Vaccine Views Joins “27 Club” After Dying In Tragic Motorcycle Accident

Actor Chance Perdomo, who starred in the television series “Gen V,” has died in a tragic motorcycle accident at the age of 27.

In a statement, Perdom’s publicists wrote, “It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Chance Perdomo’s untimely passing as a result of a motorcycle accident.”

Perdomo was nominated in 2019 for a British Academy Television Award for his lead role in “Killed By My Debt.”

According to The Daily Mail, last year, Perdomo was edited out of a Gen V trailer over anti-vax tweets and for following influencer Andrew Tate online.

Here’s what ABC reported:

Chance Perdomo, star of “Gen V,” has died after a motorcycle accident, his family and representatives announced. The actor was 27 years old.

No other individuals were involved in the accident, according to the statement, released Saturday.

“His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest,” his family and representatives said, adding: “We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.”

“We can’t quite wrap our head around this,” the producers of “Gen V” shared in a statement posted on the Amazon Studios, Prime Video, Sony Pictures TV and the show’s Instagram pages.

Gen V star Chance Perdomo has died in a motorcycle accident aged just 28.

The Los Angeles born actor, who grew up in the UK, was killed in a single vehicle smash, according to officials. No other details of the crash have yet been shared, Deadline reported.

Pedomo’s most recent role was as Andrew Anderson in Prime Video’s supernatural show Gen V.

Last year, TheDirect reported he’d been edited out of a trailer over ‘controversial’ views, including liking anti-vax tweets, as well as following misogynistic influencer Andrew Tate online.

Perdomo joins the long list of actors, musicians, and other celebrities who passed away at the age of 27, which has been known as the “27 Club”.
