Jared Kushner’s Youngest Brother Josh Kushner Plans To Revitalize Life Magazine

Josh Kushner, the brother of former top Trump adviser Jared Kushner, has just landed a deal to revitalize Life Magazine.

Josh Kushner, along with his supermodel wife Karlie Kloss, has purchased the publishing rights to Life Magazine, which was previously owned by IAC subsidiary Dotdash Meredith.

The price tag of the deal has yet to be released to the public.

Kushner, who is worth $3 billion, plans to revitalize Life Magazine, which stopped publishing monthly issues in 2000.

The purchase was made through Kloss’ media start-up, Medford Media.

Here’s what The New York Post reported:

Josh Kushner and his supermodel wife Karlie Kloss have agreed to buy Life magazine from Barry Diller’s IAC for an undisclosed sum, according to a report.

Kushner, the venture capitalist who owns Thrive Capital, and his wife have come to terms with IAC subsidiary Dotdash Meredith for the publishing rights to Life, the photography-focused magazine that ceased putting out monthly editions in 2000.

Kloss’ media startup, Bedford Media, is acquiring the publication rights to Life, according to The New York Times.

According to the Times, Kushner, the brother of former Trump administration adviser Jared Kushner, approached Diller about resurrecting Life last year.

Kushner, who has a net worth of more than $3 billion thanks to his venture capital firm’s investments in Instagram, Spotify, and Slack, pitched Diller on reviving the brand both in print and online while using its name to promote events and collaborations with studios, the Times reported.

Per Newsmax:

Entrepreneur and model Karlie Kloss, along with her husband, billionaire investor Joshua Kushner, will be reviving LIFE magazine, which stopped regular publication over two decades ago.

Kloss and Kushner’s Bedford Media announced Thursday a deal to bring back LIFE Magazine in both print and digital formats.

This partnership with Dotdash Meredith will revive LIFE as a regular publication and media outlet, Variety reported. IAC created Dotdash Meredith after it acquired Meredith for $2.7 billion, which came after Meredith acquired Time Inc., the previous owner of LIFE.

The LIFE Magazine deal follows Bedford Media’s recent acquisition of i-D Magazine from Vice Media Group.

Kushner is the founder of venture-capital firm Thrive Capital and the younger sibling of Jared Kushner, the former White House adviser and son-in-law to former President Donald Trump.
