President Trump has secured the support of a powerful billionaire backer.

Nelson Peltz, a billionaire investor, says he will once again back the 45th President in his re-election bid. Peltz backed President Trump in 2020 but later claimed he regretted his decision to support the former President.

The billionaire cited Biden’s deteriorating ‘mental condition‘ as the primary reason he is throwing his support behind former President Trump for the 2024 race.

Peltz is just saying what we are all thinking, yet he has received a considerable amount of hate from the left for his position.

Financial Times interviewed Peltz and provided this synopsis: “Billionaire investor Nelson Peltz plans to vote for Donald Trump, saying his assessment that President Joe Biden’s ‘mental condition is really scary’ outweighed his concern over the January 6 2021 attack on the US Capitol.”

The Epoch Times presented this statement from Peltz:

“We can’t go on letting everyone into this country . . . We have an immigration problem—it’s not a Republican or Democrat problem,” said Mr. Peltz.

He expressed opposition to stopping immigration altogether but “I want some boundaries put on it so we know at least who we’re bringing in.”

Leftists didn’t take the news of Peltz supporting the 45th President too well; for some reason they seemed to be really angry about it, despite the fact that Peltz is not a well-known figure.

Contrast this to Peltz’s comments in 2021, provided by CNBC:

Billionaire investor Nelson Peltz on Thursday apologized for backing President Donald Trump’s failed reelection efforts, telling CNBC he believes the Capitol Hill riot has permanently tarnished Trump’s legacy.

“What happened yesterday is a disgrace. As an American, I’m embarrassed,” the Trian Partners CEO said on “Closing Bell.”

“I didn’t vote for Trump in ’16. I voted for him in this past election in November. Today, I’m sorry I did that.”
