MSNBC Host DELETES Tweet Pushing Trump “Bloodbath” Hoax After Getting Called Out By Elon Musk

Earlier today, Elon Musk defended President Trump after the Biden campaign and MSM took a line from yesterday’s Ohio rally speech out-of-context to push a hoax about Trump promising a “bloodbath” if not elected.

Joe Scarborough, who co-hosts Morning Joe on MSNBC, was just one of the lies’ countless backers in the lamestream media.

Scarborough posted some clips of protestors at the Capitol on January 6th on his X account, captioned, “Donald Trump’s America. And he is proud of it. Promised another ‘bloodbath’ if he loses again.”

Elon Musk quickly slammed Scarborough’s blatant propaganda, replying, “Jan 6 was not a ‘bloodbath’ by any definition and Trump was referring to job losses in the auto industry when he used that word. Your post is extremely misleading.”

Although Scarborough’s original tweet is now deleted, screenshots of both posts are making their rounds on social media.

See here:

Trump did use the word “bloodbath” during yesterday’s Ohio speech…but, it was in reference to auto manufacturing jobs.

Here’s what he said, with full context:

“If you’re listening, President Xi — and you and I are friends — but he understands the way I deal. Those big monster car manufacturing plants that you’re building in Mexico right now — and you think you’re gonna get that, you’re gonna not hire Americans and you’re gonna sell the cars to us — no.

“We’re gonna put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not gonna be able to sell those cars if I get elected. Now if I don’t get elected, it’s gonna be a bloodbath for the whole — that’s gonna be the least of it. It’s gonna be a bloodbath for the country. That’ll be the least of it. But they’re not gonna sell those cars. They’re building massive factories.”

Elon Musk also shared a hilarious meme this morning comparing the "bloodbath" false narrative pushers to NPCs:

He also shamed NBC for their misleading headline of the story:

For some context, here's how NBC News chose to report on Trump's "bloodbath" comment:

Former President Donald Trump vowed on Saturday that there would be a “bloodbath” if he’s not re-elected in November.

The comments came at a rally here as Trump discussed the possibility of an increasing trade war with China over auto manufacturing. The rally was intended to get out the vote for Republican Senate candidate Bernie Moreno, whom Trump endorsed in December, ahead of Ohio’s primary on Tuesday.

“If you’re listening, President Xi — and you and I are friends — but he understands the way I deal. Those big monster car manufacturing plants that you’re building in Mexico right now … you’re going to not hire Americans and you’re going to sell the cars to us, no. We’re going to put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not going to be able to sell those cars if I get elected,” Trump said.

“Now if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole — that’s gonna be the least of it,” he added. “It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least of it. But they’re not going to sell those cars. They’re building massive factories.”

Later, he added, “If this election isn’t won, I’m not sure that you’ll ever have another election in this country.”

Just the News shared some more insight on Elon Musk's defense of Trump:

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is defending former President Donald Trump on Sunday after multiple establishment media outlets ran headlines stating that the former president warned the U.S. would see a "bloodbath" if he is not reelected.

Although Trump did use the word "bloodbath" during a speech in Ohio on Saturday, outlets such as NPR, PoliticoThe Hill, NBC News, The New York Times and others used the term in headlines without context. Musk said the headlines were "legacy media lies" and he made multiple posts Sunday criticizing their use of the term and stressing the need for context.

Musk responded to MSNBC's "Morning Joe" co-host Joe Scarborough's post on X, formerly Twitter, of video clips from the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot and the caption: "Donald Trump’s America. And he is proud of it. Promised another 'bloodbath' if he loses again."

"Jan 6 was not a 'bloodbath' by any definition and Trump was referring to job losses in the auto industry when he used that word," Musk, the owner of X, replied to Scarborough. "Your post is extremely misleading."

When Trump used the word "bloodbath," he was discussing China's reported plans to build cars in Mexico and sell them cheaply in the United States.
