Trump Responds To Nikki Haley Dropping Out 2024 Presidential Race

As WLT reported earlier on Wednesday, Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley has officially suspended her campaign after suffering significant losses on Super Tuesday.

The former governor of South Carolina made the announcement during a press conference at her campaign headquarters on Daniel Island.

In her announcement, Haley notably did not state she would endorse Trump but instead called for Trump to win over her voters.

Just minutes after her announcement concluded Trump sent out a message on Truth Social and wrote: “Nikki Haley got TROUNCED last night, in record-setting fashion, despite the fact that Democrats, for reasons unknown, are allowed to vote in Vermont and various other Republican Primaries.”

The 45th President continued, “Much of her money came from Radical Left Democrats, as did many of her voters, almost 50%, according to the polls. At this point, I hope she stays in the “race” and fights it out until the end! I’d like to thank my family, friends, and the Great Republican Party for helping me to produce, by far, the most successful Super Tuesday in HISTORY, and would further like to invite all of the Haley supporters to join the greatest movement in the history of our Nation.”

Here’s what Politico reported:

Just as Nikki Haley took the stage in Charleston to announce that she was ending her White House bid, former President Donald Trump took a final shot at his last surviving high-profile primary challenger — and invited her supporters to join his MAGA movement.

“Nikki Haley got TROUNCED last night, in record setting fashion, despite the fact that Democrats, for reasons unknown, are allowed to vote in Vermont, and various other Republican Primaries,” Trump posted on Truth Social Wednesday, minutes after Haley suspended her campaign. “I’d like to thank my family, friends, and the Great Republican Party for helping me to produce, by far, the most successful Super Tuesday in HISTORY, and would further like to invite all of the Haley supporters to join the greatest movement in the history of our Nation,” he added.

But Trump also bashed the former South Carolina governor’s base, claiming that “Much of her money came from Radical Left Democrats, as did many of her voters, almost 50%, according to the polls.”
