Border Crisis Reaches Critical Levels, Tennessee Deploys Troops

The crisis at the Southern Border seems to have reached a boiling point.

Tennessee is now deploying its National Guard troops to Texas to help the Southwestern state mitigate the ongoing border crisis. Governor Bill Lee says the troops will arrive in two waves.

Let it always be remembered that the Biden administration did absolutely nothing to stem the ongoing border crisis, while Tennessee committed troops.

States are now stepping in to aid other states in the face of this grand dereliction of duty by the redcoats in Washington D.C.

Can someone please remind me why we even have a federal government? What is the purpose of the federal government if it cannot even protect the nation’s borders? Take a look at what everyone is saying:

USA Today featured this statement from Governor Bill Lee:

“Gov. Abbott has made the decision to utilize Texas’ resources to secure that border and to keep that traffic from coming into his state.

But it’s an overwhelming task, and he asked governors to join him because each one of us recognizes that.”

Tennessee Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti issued this statement: “Our porous border puts vulnerable kids at risk. Overlooked in this crisis are the children who are either recruited by human traffickers prior to crossing the border or exploited after their arrival. This cannot continue.”

According to The New York Post:

The initial deployment will consist of 50 members and last through March before a second wave replaces them later in the spring.

It was unclear where exactly they would be sent.
