Happy Sunday!

As we always like to do around here, I’m happy to bring you a great Sunday Gospel message.

Why Does the Lord Relent?

Today we will tackle this question, Why does the Lord Relent?

God has his own reasons for changing his mind. The main reason in scripture is because the people repent and they turn from their evil ways.

Judgment is pending on our nation. I believe that some, but not many of our government leaders will repent.

The king of Nineveh repented at the prophet Jonah’s message from the Lord. He obeyed the Lord with his whole heart and commanded his people to fast and pray.

How do we respond to what the Lord is speaking? Do we obey the Lord? I sure hope that we do. Judgment is coming to our land.

We must be prepared for what is coming. God bless America and may God bless you and your family.

You might think this headline sounds dangerously on the border of heretical.

I promise you it's not.

No, quite to the contrary.

I had listened to this incredible teaching from Dr. Michael Heiser a while ago and then I couldn't find it again.

I've been searching for it and finally found it again!

So now I'm sharing it with you, because I think it's quite literally life-changing for some of the people he describes in this short 14-minute message.

I'll let him explain it, but the short summary is some of the big things the Church has taught over the years about Original Sin have some major problems to them.

No, this isn't Heiser coming up with some new "gnostic" theory.

Not at all.

Heisler has famously stated he's never had an original idea in his life.

He was the foremost expert on semitic languages during his lifetime and he's just really good at reaching hard topics and summarizing the best research out there. And working through contradictions when they arise.

So just trust me on this, I think you're going to be absolutely blown away by this teaching.
