150 House Democrats Vote AGAINST Deporting Illegals Caught Drunk Driving

Earlier today, the House of Representatives voted on a bipartisan bill that would make being convicted of a DUI a deportable offense.

The bill, titled the Protect Our Communities from DUIs Act, would make “driving while intoxicated or impaired” grounds for “barring a non-U.S. national (alien under federal law) from admission into the United States” or deporting them, if already living in the United States illegally.

Seems like common sense, right?

The measure ended up passing 274-150, with 59 Democrats joining mostly Republicans to pass the bill.

Yet, 150 Democrats – that’s over two-thirds – voted AGAINST the bill.

Instead, they voted to protect illegal immigrants who put American citizens in danger by drinking and driving from deportation…

Absolutely crazy…

Elon Musk chimed in:

Fox News reported on the DUI deportation bill, which was introduced by Republican Rep. Barry Moore of Alabama:

Fifty-nine House Democrats joined Republicans to pass a bill to deport illegal immigrants caught driving under the influence on Thursday.

The measure passed 274-150 with mainly GOP votes. One hundred fifty Democrats voted against it.

“In the United States, someone dies in a crash with an impaired driver every 45 minutes. I lost two of my young newlywed constituents to an illegal immigrant driving under the influence of alcohol,” Rep. Barry Moore, R-Ala., who introduced the bill, told Fox News Digital.

The bill would make people who were charged with a DUI and are in the U.S. illegally automatically eligible for deportation and permanently inadmissible.

The Daily Caller added some more details on the vote:

Over one hundred Democrats voted against a bill intending to deport illegal migrants caught driving under the influence (DUI).

The bill, titled Protect Our Communities from DUIs Act, passed the House with a 274-150 vote, with all voting against the legislation being Democrats, according to the roll call vote. Fifty-nine Democrats joined all 215 Republicans to vote in favor of the legislation.

Some of the Democrats who voted in favor of the legislation include Reps. Henry Cuellar and Colin Allred of Texas, Pennsylvania Rep. Brendan Foyle, California Rep. Jimmy Panetta and New York Rep. Patrick Ryan.

The bill makes driving while impaired grounds for barring a non-U.S. national from entry into the U.S. and for deportation, according to the legislation’s description. The individual must be convicted of the offense to be subjected to deportation.

Just yesterday, these same House Dems voted to protect illegal immigrants who commit social security fraud from deportation, thus robbing seniors and law-abiding taxpayers.

How despicable…

What do you think?

Will all of these treasonous Democrats be voted out come November?…
