Surf Legend Bethany Hamilton Dropped By Rip Curl After Speaking Against Trans Inclusion In Surfing | Replaced By Biological Man

Last year, Bethany Hamilton was dropped by Rip Curl, a famous surf brand, due to her stance against trans people competing in sports.

The legendary surfer, Bethany Hamilton, has shared her disapproval of transwomen competing alongside real biological women.

In a seemingly retaliatory move, Rip Curl has used a transgendered woman to promote women’s surfing.

Fox News shares more on the story:

Surfing star Bethany Hamilton doubled down on her assertions that trans inclusion in women’s sports should be barred amid controversy over Rip Curl’s new ambassador.

The surfing brand was criticized for using transgender surfer Sasha Lowerson in a promotion last week.

“Male-bodied athletes should not be competing in female sports. Period,” Hamilton wrote on X.

Hamilton made her stance on trans inclusion in women’s sports clear last year after she spoke out against the World Surf League’s (WSL) rules governing transgender women competing in its events.

Hamilton said in a video posted to her Instagram that she would not be participating in WSL events if the rule remains.

These biological men have a distinct physiological advantage over women in competitive sports, and it is disturbing that they are trying so hard to compete against biological women.

The Daily Mail shares more on the story:

Iconic Australian surf brand Rip Curl has come under fire after featuring a transgender boarder in a campaign to promote women’s surfing.

Sasha Lowerson, 44, featured on the Rip Curl Women Instagram page on Thursday as part of the company’s Meet The Local Heroes of Western Australia campaign.

It comes just months after Rip Curl dropped former brand ambassador Bethany Hamilton – one of the world’s most famous surfers – reportedly over her opposition to transgender people competing in women’s sport.

Ms Hamilton, who lost her left arm in a 2003 shark attack but returned to professional surfing, threatened to boycott the World Surf League in February last year after a ruling allowing trans athletes to compete in women’s competitions.

Rip Curl is just the latest Aussie brand draw the ire of fans over gender issues, after  Seafolly was slammed last year for working with non-binary influencer Deni Todorovič and Moana Bikini featured a male model in a swimsuit this week.

Ms Lowerson, a professional surfer, first appeared in a Rip Curl social media post in August last year where she detailed how surfing in WA had shaped her life.

Women’s sports are in danger.

Some people are systematically seeking its destruction, and they’re using trans inclusion as a weapon.

Leftists claim to be pro-women and then continue to pull stunts like this.

A transgendered person can do whatever they want to their body, but that doesn’t mean they should ever be allowed to compete alongside biological women.
