JUST IN: Trump Urges States to Deploy National Guard to Texas & Begin Deportations

Amid Gov. Abbott’s standoff with Biden, President Trump has just made a call for all “willing” states to deploy their National Guard to the Texas border to begin deportations!

In a post made to his Truth Social account, Trump called for states to send their National Guards to Texas to “prevent the entry of Illegals, and to remove them back across the Border.”

He also promised that when he takes the White House back, “On Day One, instead of fighting Texas, I will word hand in hand with Governor Abbott and other Border States to Stop the Invasion, Seal the Border, and Rapidly begin the Largest Domestic Deportation Operation in History.”

The Post Millennial has more to say:

Former President Donald Trump posted to his Truth Social account that he is encouraging all “willing states to deploy their [national guard] to Texas to prevent to entry” of illegal immigrants.

Trump made the call to do so after Texas Gov. Gregg Abbot declared an invasion and invoked Texas’ right to “self-defense” in the First Article of the Constitution. At least 14 states have signaled supporting Texas in its efforts.

In the post, Trump touted his record on immigration when he was president. “When I was President, we had the most secure Border in History. Joe Biden has surrendered our Border, and is aiding and abetting a massive Invasion of millions of Illegal Migrants into the United States.”

Fox News also reported on Trump’s call to action from states:

Former President Donald Trump on Thursday gave his backing to Texas Gov. Greg Abbott amid the latter’s feud with the Biden administration over border security — urging states to send their National Guards to the border and promising to work “hand in hand” with the state to combat the “invasion” if he is inaugurated again in January 2025.

In posts to Truth Social, Trump backed Abbott and accused President Biden of “fighting to tie the hands” of the Republican governor “so that the Invasion continues unchecked.”

A feud that has been bubbling for months between Texas and the administration exploded in recent weeks after Texas seized the Shelby Park area of Eagle Pass and blocked Border Patrol from entering — sparking protests and threats of legal action from the administration.

Trump’s call to action comes as 25 states have signed a letter pledging their support to Texas and their right to self defense.
