Well, well, well. It looks like yet another Biden lie has been exposed by lawmakers and the press.
It is well known that Hunter Biden has an illustrious art career. The prolific artist has some paintings selling as high as $500,000. I am of course joking, not about the price, but about Hunter’s art career.
While his paintings aren’t terrible by any stretch of the imagination, they certainly aren’t worth $500,000. You know what is worth $500,000? Political favors!
Using art to launder money or otherwise act as a high-dollar token of exchange is nothing new. Virtually the entire art market runs on these principles. Without them, there would be no ‘art market.’
Art would simply be pretty decor sold at reasonable prices, art would not represent an entire asset class.
The White House previously claimed that Hunter Biden engaged in blind sales of his art and did not know who the buyers and clients were.
A new deposition taken by the House Oversight Committee of Hunter Biden’s art dealer Georges Bergès directly contradicts the White House’s earlier claims. According to Bergès, there was no such blind sale agreement.
The White House said they crafted an agreement to keep Hunter's art buyers confidential to avoid ethical issues.

The Oversight Committee explained: “Georges Bergès revealed Kevin Morris purchased most of Hunter Biden’s art for $875,000 in January 2023.
However, Kevin Morris only paid Mr. Bergès 40% commission of the $875,000 purchase, and Hunter Biden and Kevin Morris figured out the financial implications. Bergès admitted he has never done an art deal like that before.”

According to The Epoch Times:
White House officials said in 2021 that the arrangement would involve Mr. Bergès handling all financial aspects and that he would “not share information about buyers or prospective buyers, including their identities, with Hunter Biden or the administration, which provides quite a level of protection and transparency.”
“The president has established the highest ethical standards of any administration in American history, and his family’s commitment to rigorous processes like this is a prime example,” Andrew Bates, a White House spokesman, said at the time.
The Oversight Committee went on: “In 2020, Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali did not buy Hunter Biden’s art despite Georges Bergès’ best efforts.
Within two months of Joe Biden becoming President, in February 2021, Ms. Naftali purchased her first piece of Hunter Biden’s artwork for $42,000.
Then in July 2022, President Biden announced Ms. Naftali’s appointment to the same commission that Biden family associate, Eric Schwerin, was appointed to during the Obama-Biden Administration.
In December 2022, Hirsh Naftali purchased more of Hunter Biden’s art for $52,000.”
Hunter Biden's art dealer also stated that he has talked on the phone and met in person with Joe Biden, even attending the wedding the Bidens hosted at the White House.

Just The News confirmed:
According to House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, Berges told Congress in a transcribed interview Tuesday that the White House never communicated anything to him about ethics requirements governing Hunter Biden’s art sale and that much of the artwork he sold on behalf of the first son went to two Democrat donors.
