Beloved Television And Film Actor Dead At Age 42


Our hearts and prayers go out to the family and loved ones of Adan Canto.

The television and film star was featured in hit productions such as X-Men Days of Future Past, Narcos, Designated Survivor, and The Cleaning Lady.

Originally from Mexico, Canto was raised partly in the United States and Mexico then returned to Mexico at age 16 seeking an entertainment career.

Aside from his career in the television and film industry, Canto was also a musician. Breitbart provided a short biography of the celebrity:

Canto was born in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico, in 1981, and raised in Texas.

At age 16 he went to Mexico City, where he pursued a career as a singer and guitarist.

Canto then began acting in local commercials and television shows, and was subsequently scouted for a major role in Fox’s drama series, The Following.

Canto was pronounced dead on Monday after a long battle with appendiceal cancer. Fans and news outlets paid homage to the actor:

Newsmax revealed that Canto is survived by his wife and their two children:

Canto is survived by his wife, Stephanie Ann Canto, and two children, Roman Alder, 3, and Eve Josephine, 18 months.

“Forever my treasure Adan, see you soon,” his wife wrote on her Instagram account.
