BREAKING: Trump Now Endorsed by Entire House Republican Leadership

This just in: The entire House Republican leadership has now endorsed Trump!

Today, House Majority Whip Tom Emmer formally threw his support behind Donald J. Trump for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, completing our former president’s clean-sweep of top GOP members.

Previously, Emmer was holding out on endorsing any candidate for 2024, despite supporting Trump in both 2016 and 2020.

Perhaps, Emmer didn’t take kindly to Trump branding him as a “globalist RINO” when he ran against Kevin McCarthy for House Speaker in October….(lol.)

Even so, it appears he has changed his mind.

The New York Post has more to say on Emmer’s endorsement:

House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) threw his support behind Donald Trump for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination Wednesday, solidifying congressional GOP leadership behind the former president.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.), Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La), Conference Chair Elise Stefanik (R-NY) and National Republican Congressional Committee Chair Richard Hudson (R-NC) all previously endorsed Trump in the Republican primary.

Emmer had previously indicated he might not endorse any candidate, and only announced his support after Scalise came out for Trump on Tuesday.

“Democrats have made clear they will use every tool in their arsenal to try and keep Joe Biden and his failed policies in power,” Emmer said on X. “We cannot let them. It’s time for Republicans to unite behind our party’s clear frontrunner, which is why I am proud to endorse Donald J. Trump for President.”

The Daily Mail also commented on Trump sweeping the board on endorsements from Republican House leadership:

The entire House Republican leadership team has now endorsed Donald Trump after House Majority Whip Tom Emmer joined colleagues in backing the former president  who helped sink his own bid to for the speakership.

Emmer’s announcement came a day after House Majority Leader Steve Scalise of Louisiana gave his own nod to Trump, and days before the Iowa caucuses kick off the 2024 election process.

‘Democrats have made clear they will use every tool in their arsenal to try and keep Joe Biden and his failed policies in power. We cannot let them. It’s time for Republicans to unite behind our party’s clear frontrunner, which is why I am proud to endorse Donald J. Trump for President,’ Emmer posted on X.

His statement of unflinching support came despite Trump torpedoing his own bid to move up the later during the chaotic effort to find a new speaker after the removal of former Speaker Kevin McCarthy – who has also endorsed Trump.
