Retired Army Col. Karl Nell: Government Conducting Secret ‘Manhattan Project,’ Warns Of ‘Catastrophic’ Leak

Too many credible, competent, and honest people have come forward to corroborate the same major allegations.

Namely, The U.S. government, or factions within the government, have been running a decades-long UFO/UAP crash retrieval program with the hopes of reverse engineering such craft.

According to those numerous whistleblowers, progress has been slow due to the insane compartmentalization of such programs; such obtuse secrecy is nothing new to the U.S. military or our military contractors.

UFO whistleblower David Grusch explained on Joe Rogan’s show that individuals working on the legendary Manhattan Project did not know what the people next door were working on.

Those who were making fuses did not know the fuses were going to be used in an atomic bomb; moreover, the person working on a specific task did not know what the person next to them was working on, he stated.

Adding credibility to Grusch’s claims of a vast array of deep black UFO reverse-engineering projects are the assertions of retired U.S. Army Colonel Karl Nell.

Nell claims that the U.S. government is conducting UFO reverse-engineering efforts on non-human craft with the same secrecy employed in the Manhattan Project of the 1940s.

The retired Colonel went on to explain that one of his primary goals was paving the way for disclosure in order to avoid a ‘catastrophic’ leak of this information.

What would a catastrophic leak look like? Nell says that it would be a torrent of Earth-shattering revelations that could completely upend human civilization.

Such a leak could come from independent actors or hostile foreign nations. The revelation that human beings are somehow products of extraterrestrials could potentially be one of these revelations.

Nell did not explicitly say this, but this is one of the implications. Imagine what would happen to society if humanity suddenly found out that we are the products of accelerated evolution from some higher intergalactic species.

Even the simple idea that we are not alone, an increasing likelihood, could have negative implications for society, though I doubt this. I was actually shocked at the complete apathy when the 2017 New York Times article was published.

No one seemed to care, instead what people wanted to know was who President Trump peed on or did not pee on. Society has likely accepted the fact that extraterrestrials exist on a very deep level.

Perhaps this is due to the simple passage of time, perhaps it is due to decades of predictive programming from Hollywood and other media sources regarding the existence of extraterrestrial life.

No matter the cause, one thing is certain: the existence of non-human intelligence and non-human technological artifacts is gaining steam with each passing day. Here’s more on the story:

UFO researcher Mike Colangelo and prominent attorney Daniel Sheehan, who has represented many UFO whistleblowers, touched on the topic of testimony from Colonel Karl Nell in 2024.

Sheehan was reluctant to answer whether or not the retired army officer would testify this year.

Colangelo explained: “Allegedly, Karl Nell received some pushback from the DoD and that is why Karl Nell wasn’t at the July 26th hearing with David Grusch, Ryan Graves, and David Fravor.”

Daily Mail provided a list of accolades for Colonel Karl Nell:

Col. Nell was a ‘modernization advisor’ to the Army Futures Command engaged in the ‘most significant Army reorganization since 1973’ — which has spearheaded the development of remote-operated and unmanned robotic combat vehicles, AI projects and other advancements.

Col. Nell, now an aerospace executive, commanded at every grade level across decades of service including tours with the US Army Reserves, the DIA and US Space Command.

From 2021 to 2022, Col. Nell was assigned as the Army’s dedicated liaison to the Pentagon’s UAP Task Force.

Colangelo speculated: “Karl Nell Could Be the New Director of AARO. Ross Coulthart and Bryce Zabel say that Karl Nell is one of the candidates for the new director of AARO. There is some pushback though from the DoD.

As you know, Karl Nell supported David Grusch in The Debrief article and agrees that the U.S. has CR programs with non-human craft.”

The Debrief explained:

Karl E. Nell, a recently retired Army Colonel and current aerospace executive who was the Army’s liaison for the UAP Task Force from 2021 to 2022 and worked with Grusch there, characterizes Grusch as “beyond reproach.”
