And here I thought this guy had gone full-on Democrat just like Liz Cheney.
President Trump just scored a new, some might say very unexpected, endorsement. Former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy has officially endorsed President Trump for the 2024 race.
He even went so far as to say he would accept a position in President Trump’s cabinet—though I doubt he will be picked.
McCarthy told CBS in an interview which will air on Sunday: “If Biden stays as the nominee for the Democrats, I believe Donald Trump will win.”

Of course, McCarthy was recently exposed via a newly surfaced video of him openly praising the Democrat Party as the true face of America. Can we trust him ever again?

According to The Epoch Times:
When asked in a CBS interview to be published on Dec. 10 whether President Trump will be the presidential nominee for the GOP, Mr. McCarthy replied, “Yes. In the Republican Party?
Yes. And if Biden stays as the nominee for the Democrats, I believe Donald Trump will win, I believe the Republicans will gain more seats in the House, and the Republicans will win the Senate.”
He also agreed that he would support President Trump in the elections, admitting it as an endorsement.
Multiple outlets provided coverage of the McCarthy endorsement of President Trump and noted his openness to a cabinet position. Could this be the true reason McCarthy abruptly resigned from Congress?

The Hill provided this statement from McCarthy when asked if he would accept a Cabinet position in the Trump administration:
“In the right position. Look, if I’m the best person for the job, yes. I worked with President Trump on a lot of policies.
We worked together to win the majority, but we also have a relationship where we’re very honest with one another.”
