Come on now, Sam Bankman-Fried and James O’Keefe are on the same list? Surely the folks at Forbes are just clowning around.
Forbes has recently released an article featuring their new ‘Hall of Shame’—a list of individuals once on their “30 Under 30” list that have since gone on to disgrace themselves or commit crimes.
For what I must assume are political reasons, legendary investigative journalist James O’Keefe was also placed on the list which also includes the likes of Nate Paul, SBF, and Martin Shkreli.
Forbes recently announced: “Many Under 30 alumni have gone on to become tech titans, CEOs, and even billionaires. A few have turned out to be duds, or far worse. Below, from SBF to Martin Shkreli: the Under 30 picks we wish we could take back.”

James O’Keefe had this to say to Forbes: “Forbes retracted me from its “30 under 30” list which put me on I was 28. It issued a “hall of shame” list of 10 monsters — saying the 10 specific people from the list, myself included, taken a “dubious path.” They also put me in the same camp as Sam Bankman Fried. Lol.”

Business Insider provided a summary of the Forbes entry for O’Keefe:
James O’Keefe, the founder of the conservative Project Veritas, was ousted in February after 13 years in charge, accused of misusing donor funds for purposes such as private-jet flights.
Financial advisor and investor Gabor Gurbacs poked fun at Forbes for paywalling the article and stated: “So you promoted scammers that defrauded investors to get clicks and now you are trying to make money from a “hall of shame” list with subscriptions and more clicks?”

Daily Mail had more on other individuals who made Forbes’ “Hall of Shame” list:
Caroline Ellison, his ex-girlfriend and former co-CEO of FTX sister company Alameda, was also included in the Hall of Shame.
Other names Forbes regrets listing include Frank founder Charlie Javice and real estate investor Nate Paul who have been indicted on fraud and conspiracy counts, and Defense Distributed founder Cody Wilson who was convicted of having sex with a minor.
