WATCH: President Trump Says Tucker Carlson Could Be VP! Cites His ‘Common Sense’

President Trump recently joined the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show to discuss the latest issues.

During the interview, President Trump was asked if he would ever consider taking on Tucker Carlson as a Vice President.

When asked, he said that he felt Carlson would make a great VP, citing his ‘common sense’ on modern-day issues.

The former President then went on to say that neither he nor Carlson were ‘conservative’, both merely exhibited common sense.

You can watch the segment with Clay Travis, Buck Sexton, and President Trump below:

In 2020, Newsweek attempted to smear Carlson by presenting David Duke’s recommendation that Carlson become VP, what they fail to mention is that David Duke is a Democrat:

David Duke, the former leader of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK), is calling for President Donald Trump to nominate the talk-show host Tucker Carlson as his vice president.

The former KKK Grand Wizard urged Trump to pick the Fox News host as his next in command instead of Mike Pence in order to “save America.”

Ian Jeager presented this quote from President Trump: “I like Tucker a lot. I would, I think I’d say I would because he’s got great common sense.”

Earlier this year, Fox News reported:

“We’re competing with the job candidates, they’re all running for a job.

No, they’re all job candidates,” Trump said of his competition. “They want to be in the—they want to, they’ll do anything, secretary of something, they even say VP.”

“Does anybody see the VP in the group? I don’t think so,” the former president added.
