President Trump: “Cameron Lost Because He Couldn’t Alleviate The Stench Of Mitch McConnell”

President Trump wasted no time in calling out the corrupt DC establishment following Tuesday’s elections.

Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron lost the Governor’s race to incumbent Democrat Gov. Andy Beshear.

According to President Trump, Cameron was up 25 points due to an endorsement from Trump but lost the race because of Cameron’s association with Mitch McConnell in the minds of voters. The 45th President announced on Wednesday:

Some called for Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron to audit the vote and see if the Kentucky race was conducted with integrity.

Fox News provided this quote from Beshear:

“Tonight I stand here excited and optimistic about what we’re going to do these next four years together.

I pledge to be a governor that represents all of us regardless of your party and regardless of who you voted for.”

Evan Kilgore speculated: “Kentucky voted Republican, by a landslide, down the ballot… except for the Governor’s race. It’s suspicious, to say the least.”

NBC News had more details:

Beshear and his Democratic allies swamped Republicans on the airwaves, spending around $47 million on ads after the May primary, to Republicans’ $29 million, according to the ad-tracking firm AdImpact.

The candidates’ disparity was especially stark, with Beshear’s campaign spending around $24 million on ads — almost five times more than Cameron’s campaign.
