President Trump is fighting back against the never-Trumpers of Michigan who seek to keep him off the ballot.
In case you missed it, left-wing activists are placing pressure on Michigan’s Secretary of State to remove President Trump from the 2024 ballot.
They are also ready to use multiple avenues to prevent the former President from appearing on the election ticket.
Michigan’s Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson has already publicly stated that she will not be removing President Trump or any other political candidate from the ballot because that is not within her jurisdiction.
However, many MAGA patriots and officials within the Michigan GOP aren’t buying it and have accused Benson of attempted election interference.
The hearing to determine whether or not the 45th President can be removed from the ballot began 2 days ago, and attorneys for the former President have filed a lawsuit against Secretary of State Benson demanding that she make her position in the matter official and in writing to the Trump campaign.
WXYZ Detriot reports: “Former President Donald Trump is asking a court to prevent Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson from leaving his name off the 2024 primary ballot.”

The Epoch Times explained:
In the case against President Trump, the activists point to Section 3 of the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution which bars a citizen from holding office if they have engaged in “insurrection or rebellion” against the United States “or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.”
Chairwoman of the Michigan GOP, Kristina Karamo, fired back at Michigan Secretary of State Benson:
“This is election interference. Jocelyn Benson is attempting to condition Michiganders to “be ok” with her attempt to use lawfare to usurp your Constitutional Right to representation and rig the 2024 election.”

CNBC provided more details on President Trump’s lawsuit against Benson:
The suit, filed Monday in the Michigan Court of Claims, asks a court to declare that Benson lacks authority to decide whether Trump can be disqualified under an interpretation of the Constitution that has spurred lawsuits in multiple states.
Trump’s attorneys also seek an injunction barring Benson from refusing to place Trump on the ballot in Michigan.
