The U.S. Capitol has just been infiltrated by hundreds of pro-Palestine protesters who have staged a sit in inside of the Capitol.
The Capitol Police have reported hey have already “arrested several individuals as chants of “ceasefire now” and “free Palestine” echoed around the building.”
Many are calling the protest an insurrection and are comparing the chaotic scene to January 6th.
Take a look here:
Apparently it’s ok to storm the Capitol, stage an insurrection inside, and interrupt a congressional hearing.
But only if you’re protesting on behalf of Palestine.

"We have an insurrection happening in the Cannon building."
This show of force makes J6 look like a walk in the park. How can Republican lawmakers be safe in this environment. Capitol police appear to be overwhelmed. pic.twitter.com/WdrJrDzYWT

So, let me get this straight…Trump supporters gather at the Capitol on J6 and it’s called an “insurrection”
Yet, when the LEFTIST Pro-Palestinian protestors, and ROGUE “Representatives” take over the Capitol building it’s TOTALLY FINE. NO PROBLEM. CAPITOL POLICE ARE TOTALLY… pic.twitter.com/sehpuCVgE1

Per Fox 5 DC:
A pro-Palestinian protest is underway on Capitol Hill as demonstrators are occupying the Cannon Rotunda and large crowds are growing around the Capitol complex.
The Cannon House Office Building holds several House Committee and congressional offices.
U.S. Capitol Police say that demonstrations are not allowed inside Congressional buildings and are working to clear the crowd. Police have already arrested several individuals as chants of “ceasefire now” and “free Palestine” echoed around the building.
The detained protesters were lined up outside the building and are being shuttled to a temporary holding area in the Capitol complex. Capitol Police say demonstrators inside the Cannon Rotunda will be charged with illegally protesting inside a House Office Building.
They say already among these arrests, three people have been charged with assault on a police officer during processing.
USCP says it is monitoring the situation as more protesters are gathering around the House side of the Capitol Complex and because of that, they are temporarily rolling road closures for safety.
JUST IN: The United States Capitol has been taken over inside and outside by pro-Palestine protesters as Rep. Rashida Tlaib spoke with a crowd nearby.
Are we only allowed to call people like this insurrections when they are Donald Trump supporters?
Police are now making… pic.twitter.com/W0rttqIx51

BREAKING: Hundreds of Democrat Insurrectionists storm US Capitol calling for Gaza ceasefire
Did the Hamas Caucus coordinate to allow them access?
This is the darkest day in our democracy
We must create the October 18th Committee and hold these domestic extremists accountable! pic.twitter.com/FKhfzEfq8h

The Hill got the scoop too:
A large group of protestors entered the Cannon House office building Wednesday demanding an Israeli cease-fire, resulting in several arrests, Capitol police said.
“Demonstrations are not allowed inside Congressional Buildings,” the U.S. Capitol Police posted on X. “We warned the protestors to stop demonstrating and when they did not comply we began arresting them.”ADVERTISEMENTThe protest, organized jointly by the Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and IfNotNow, began at noon in front of the Capitol. Demonstrators urged Congress take action toward a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip.
The Biden administration has largely defended Israel’s retaliatory airstrikes on Gaza, after Hamas militants carried out a massacre of Israeli civilians earlier this month. But progressives in Congress have increased pressure on President Biden to urge restraint from Israel as the death toll in the Gaza Strip mounts.
