WATCH: Elon Musk Livestreams From The Southern Border

Elon Musk has officially landed in Eagle Pass, Texas to document the ongoing crisis at the southern border.

We previously joked that the eccentric billionaire was doing Joe Biden’s job for him, but seriously though, why is he acting more like the Commander-in-Chief than the purported leader of the free world?

Neither Biden nor Harris are anywhere to be seen despite record numbers of migrants casually coming across the border and inundating places like Eagle Pass.

Earlier on Thursday, Musk announced:  “Just arriving at Eagle Pass. Will start X livestream soon, so you can see the border situation in real-time.”

According to Daily Mail, Musk recently told Speaker Kevin McCarthy:

He [Musk] made the comments while replying to a video of Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy claiming he won’t support funding for Ukraine until the government addresses the border crisis.

‘The (USA) border needs to be secured. This is not a partisan issue – even the elected Democrat Party leaders of New York are saying this is a severe crisis,’ Musk added.

Citizen Free Press shared a partial version of Musk’s first video from Eagle Pass, Musk states: “We should not allow people in the country if they are breaking the law. Smooth out legal immigration and stop the flow.”

Musk recently told Ed Krassenstein: “We actually do need a wall and we need to require people to have some shred of evidence to claim asylum to enter, as everyone is doing that. It’s a hack that you can literally Google to know exactly what to say! Will find out more when I visit Eagle Pass maybe as soon as tomorrow.”

Fox News provided this concerning border data:

Customs and Border Protection sources told Fox News on Monday that there were approximately 11,000 migrant encounters at the southern border, exceeding the record highs seen in the days before the Title 42 public health order ended in May and making it the single highest day in recent memory.

In Eagles Pass alone, there were more than 4,000 encounters over the weekend.
