So why don’t we have the same standards for school libraries?

Why is John Kennedy able to read that book in Congress which is available in schools across the country and being pushed by the Far Left for wider adoption, when he COULDN’T read that book on ABC, CBS or NBC during daytime hours?

The book in question is available in various public schools across the country and has become a symbol of the left’s attempt to sexualize children. In light of that, parents across the political spectrum have risen up in order to reassert their rights and demand the removal of pornographic materials from classrooms.

Astonishingly, Democrats have doubled down, proclaiming that Republicans are instituting “book bans” by passing laws to stop school libraries from stocking sexual content. Some states, such as Illinois, have even gone so far as to pass laws against the removal of pornographic materials from classrooms and libraries.

To illustrate how insanely incoherent that is, Kennedy decided to read directly from Gender Queer during a hearing in which multiple LGBT activists were present and testifying. The responses he received said everything.

Hang on. Why are those words “disturbing?” I mean, if it’s disturbing enough that it shouldn’t be read in the U.S. Senate, certainly it should not be available for kids to read, right? That would be the logical conclusion to draw, but no one has ever accused the modern Democratic Party of being logical or consistent.

Kennedy’s reading was reminiscent of a press conference Gov. Ron DeSantis did in early 2023, where he showed pictures from Gender Queer. Once the pictures were put on screen, mainstream media outlets were forced to censor their own streams, proving the point better than any verbal argument ever could.

It wasn’t just the Illinois Secretary of State who was left seething, though. Everyone’s favorite left-wing social media hack, Aaron Rupar, tried to mock Kennedy and failed miserably.

Oregon School District Votes to Keep Gay Pornographic Book in Library

Salem-Keizer School District in Oregon faced severe criticism after parents discovered that a pornographic book, Gender Queer, was available in the school library.

In response, the school formed a special committee to determine if the book should be removed.

Common sense would tell anyone that a book with explicit, pornographic images should be nowhere near a school library.

This is what’s available for children to read.

A woman named Suzanne West was given the task to head the committee.

“West’s job description reads: “Crafting and developing strategies that support the district’s movement to become a more anti-racist and anti-oppressive school system,” Libs of TikTok noted.

You’ll probably guess what happened next.

The committee voted last week to keep the book.

It’s no surprise that parents have been outraged at the committee’s decision to keep this pornographic book available for their children. We obtained a copy of an email Suzanne West sent to one concerned parent. The email provided official statements from committee members regarding their decision and they are so unbelievably insane, you have to read them yourself:

  • “The book will be necessary to keep in schools, to help be more inclusive and allow all students from the LGBTQ+ community to have a resource to refer to. In addition, the pages taken out of context do not represent the intention of the book and only served as an illustration to help provide understanding of what the author was trying to portray in their book.”
  • “The book expands on sexual orientation and gender identity which are both topics touched on in wellness.”
  • “It being a graphic novel makes the book more accessible to a variety of readers.”
  • The book “has won a large number of teen-specific literary awards and is an ‘Own Voices’ text for a marginalized community. Inclusion in the library of the three high schools meets the district’s goal for more inclusive and diverse materials.”
  • “This graphic novel is very well done from a literary standpoint. It is an excellent example of a memoir, it includes many visual metaphors, it promotes literacy and accessibility through the graphic format, and it has modern language suitable to our students today.”
  • A “well written/illustrated text; important insight regarding gender identity.”

“We think kids need to read about vibrators, blowjobs, masturbation, and chest binders for ultimate inclusion and a show of diversity,” is what the statement should’ve read. Instead, they mask the graphic nature of the book under the veil of “inclusivity” and accuse concerned parents of taking the book out of context. In what context is a photo of someone receiving oral sex okay to show children?

Libs of TikTok has documented alarmed parents across the nation who have shown up to local school board meetings to try and have the book removed.

One school board even cut off a mother attempting to read the book.

Ironically, the book is too “obscene” for a school board meeting but apparently okay to place inside the school library where children have access.

Communist school boards are infecting children’s minds with pornographic material and masking it under the guise of “inclusive” to label parents as transphobic, homophobic, and hateful.

The only solution is voting out these school board members or removing children from the school system.

In my personal opinion, I prefer the latter.

Many local school boards and administrators are pushing pornographic books in school libraries.

Parents around the country were shocked and outraged when they became aware of the illegal pornographic books their local schools are pushing on kids in the student libraries.

One book that was found in several libraries is titled, Gender Queer: A Memoir by Maia Kobabe.

The Gateway Pundit explained:

The book is a graphic novel with drawings that explains in lurid detail the sexual interactions between two young men, has been inserted into high school libraries across America, despite it violating guidelines against pornography or sexually explicit materials being provided to minors and paid for with our tax dollars.

Gender Queer includes countless images of male-on-male sexual encounters, accompanied by words that one would expect to find inside literary works at adult porn shops or gay sex clubs and bathhouses. Even so, this book was purchased and pushed by school officials around the country, despite it clearly violating county guidelines.

“This week Muslim parents shut down a school board meeting over the porn books in their child’s schools,” The Gateway Pundit stated.

Detroit Free Press reported:

Hundreds of protesters packed a Dearborn Public Schools board meeting this week and shut it down with cries of anger over certain LGBTQ books they said are too sexually explicit for children. And now, some community leaders anxiously await a rescheduled meeting set for Thursday night as others call for calm.

A heavy police presence failed to prevent the Monday night meeting from descending into chaos as demonstrators took it over and then various factions within them jostled for control, shouting at each other. Protesters often ignored the requests of police officers to stop interrupting board members.

It was unclear who was in control of the meeting at times. Most of the crowd appeared to be in opposition to the books, but there were also a number of people with the the American Federation of Teachers union who showed up to support inclusion of LGBTQ people and others.

Not until Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin arrived later did the protesters stop their agitation. Shahin pleaded with the crowd to relax and not embarrass Dearborn. There was concern expressed by some community leaders that the protesters are making the city and its Arab American Muslim population look bad. But others said that as Muslims, they have to stand up for their faith.

“The eyes of the nation are on us. … So please, calm down, let’s have respect for each other,” Shahin told the crowd at about 9:10 pm. “We can have a spirited debate, but we can’t conduct ourselves this way, guys, we just can’t. We’re better than this. Dearborn is better than this. This community is better than this. We’re brothers and sisters regardless of race, ethnicity, religion.”

Shahin said the board suspended the meeting and would reschedule it for Thursday evening at Fordson High School in order to accommodate a larger crowd.

“Vote them out!” the crowd repeatedly chanted during the raucous meeting inside an administrative center where the board holds its public meetings. The room was packed tightly, with many using an overflow room and others standing in the back and on the sides. Several held up signs with anti-gay rhetoric in English and Arabic, making religious references to assert that LGBTQ educational materials and books should not be available in Dearborn Public Schools, the third largest school district in Michigan. Some of the placards held up read: “Keep your porno books to yourself,” “Homosexuality Big Sin,” and “If democracy matters, we’re the majority.”

I love watching his videos and sharing them with you, and I came across a new one today that I had somehow missed.

This is it:

Ahhhh, the Mystery of the Moon Bride!

Sounds interesting.

And I was excited to watch it.

I’m always excited to watch anything new from Jonathan Cahn.

And like usual, I thought it was wonderful, except…..I have to take issue with one part.

Cahn repeats the secular teaching that the Moon has no light of its own, it just reflects the light of the sun.

In fact, he says it several times in the video: “the moon has no light of its own”.

He says it so many times and so convincingly that it made me wonder: Is that a verse in the Bible?

So I looked it up.

I was expecting that maybe it was a verse and I had missed it.

The answer?

No.

No, it’s not.

The Bible doesn’t say that.

Secular humanism and “scientism” tells us that.

The Bible actually says the exact opposite.

And this is where I have to respectfully call out Jonathan Cahn.

The Bible, and Jesus himself in the Bible, says many times that the Moon casts “its own light”.

The Bible NEVER says the Moon reflects the light of the Sun.

No, it says quite clearly that the Moon shines its own light.

From Biblical Hermeneutics, the question is teed up:

Does Mark 13:24 suggest that Jesus believe the moon had its own light source?

The answers given make clear that the Bible believes the Moon shines its OWN light.

It’s stated point-blank in Genesis, do you remember?

Genesis 1 says God made “two great lights”.

It doesn’t say he made one great light and one reflector.

So, did the Bible goof?

Or…did the Bible say exactly what it meant to say?

Then we have this answer given, which claims Jesus made a mistake in his wording.

That’s an option.

The other option is he didn’t make a mistake at all, as the Creator of the World he chose his words very carefully (this is of course the right answer):

This claims that the language in the Bible for sunrise and sunset is also wrong.

How fascinating!

The Bible says the sun “goes out” and “comes in” rather than “sets” and “rises”.

So…in other words, the Bible is accurately and specifically describing a Flat Earth Model while modern science tells us something very different:

How fascinating!

Look, I’m not here to win a debate.

I’m just saying that I expected Jonathan Cahn to give more weight to what the Bible says than what modern science tries to tell us.

It was a throwaway joke from the inimitable Norm Macdonald.

Miss that guy so much, but at least we have YouTube.

Anyway, back to the serious topic at hand.

While I was joking in the tweet above, a very serious question remains: Did we truly go to the moon back in 1969?

I smell a FACT-CHECK coming!

Now you might think that’s a crazy question, but if you start to dig into it you quickly realize there is a very logical, rational, and evidence-based argument to claim that no, we did not.

COULD not have done it even if we wanted to!

So I wanted to show this interview to you.

This is Patrick Bet David, a guy who I’ve really come to respect.

PBD plays it right down in the middle in this one, challenging his guest Bart Sibrel but doing it respectfully and allowing him to state his case.

And his case is remarkable clear.

Some people get caught up in analyzing the photos and the shadows and all this other nonsense or the reflections in the glass and claiming it was faked because of some really hard to follow technical details.

Sibrel doesn’t do that.

He simply states a very clear and logical case that goes like this:

In order to believe we landed on the moon in 1969 you have to believe this simple claim:

That we went 1,000 times FARTHER than we can currently send astronauts today…

50 years ago…

On the first attempt…

With one-millionth the computing power of today’s cell phone!

In fact, Werner von Braun, the lead scientist of the space mission for NASA, stated the odds of them going to the moon, successfully, with 1960s technolgoy, was a 1 in 10,000 chance!

That’s your lead brainiac saying that!

There is no other example in history where we achieved a technological advancement and then 50 years later could not replicate it.

No other example in history.

In every other example, we are not only replicating it but exceeding it just a few years later.

Certainly, 50 years later the advancement from that first breakthrough is many multiples greater.

And yet, not so with the moon.

We haven’t been back.

No other country has been back.

In fact, NASA now says the technology to do it “hasn’t been invented yet!”

Why?

Because there’s a massive thing called the Van Allen Radiation Belts that would cook you alive!

Did Buzz Aldrin just admit (again) that the moon landings were faked?

Well, it sure looks like it.

But we’ll give you all the evidence and let you decide.

A clip of Buzz Aldrin on Conan O’Brien’s Late Night Show from 2000 is suddenly going viral right now thanks to this post on TikTok:

In the clip, Buzz pretty clearly says the video of the astronauts walking on the moon was fake.

I don’t know how else you interpret that.

I mean, I know this is a comedy show, but nothing about this clip appears to be a joke or a bit.

Even Conan is taken aback and temporarily at a loss for how to respond (and it’s his job to never be caught off guard as a talk show host).

The Reuters Fact-Check team has already investigated and determined what you heard Buzz say is totally “False”.

Just another one we all got wrong!

So somehow they’ve labeled this as “False” despite the part I bolded below where they seem to even admit that the footage is, in fact, mostly made of animations.

This is their full report:

Social media users are sharing a video of astronaut Buzz Aldrin being interviewed by American television host Conan O’Brien and claiming that Aldrin discussing parts of the moon landing broadcasts being animated is proof that it was all faked.

He was referring to animations used by broadcasters at the time in their coverage of the moon landing, intercut with real footage. The moon landing did take place and men did walk on the moon.

Examples of the erroneous social media posts can be seen ( here ) and ( here ).

A longer video of the interview, dated May 17, 2000, can be seen on YouTube ( here ).

At the 1:29 mark, O’Brien says: “Let’s talk about this because this is fascinating. I remember very clearly; I think anybody who was alive at the time does. I remember my parents waking me up and we went down, and we watched you guys land on the moon.”

Aldrin responds: “No, you didn’t. Because there wasn’t any television, there wasn’t anybody taking the picture. You watched animation so you associated what you saw with… you heard me talking about, you know, how many feet we’re going to the left and right and then I said contact light, engine stopped, a few other things and then Neil said ‘Houston, tranquility base. The Eagle has landed.’ How about that? Not a bad line.”

The moon landing took place on July 20, 1969 with astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. NASA said in 2006 that no one could find the original video recordings of the July 20, 1969, landing. However, in 2009 NASA released a complete digital make-over of the original landing footage that clarifies the blurry and grainy images of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walking on the surface of the moon ( here ).

A video compiled by CNN shows the available footage from the mission ( here ), including takeoff and the astronauts climbing down and walking on the moon.

An article ( here ) by the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum explains the challenges of recording footage of the moon landing and walking.

NASA contracted with Westinghouse for a black and white camera costing $2.29 million to capture the iconic moment, according to the museum. Photographs of the camera, which was stored in the lunar module’s Modular Equipment Stowage Assembly near the ladder Armstrong can be seen climbing down, can be seen ( here ).

“For us today, we can thank technicians for having recorded the broadcast, though the tapes assumed to be of the highest quality were never located despite searches for them in the last few decades,” the article reads. “What we see now on YouTube or in films are high definition scans of those best available copies.”

An article by Vox ( here ) says some television networks built sets to recreate some of the moments that were not able to be captured on video.

The National Science and Media Museum discussed the Apollo 11 broadcast on its website ( here ): “Many broadcasters used simulations to flesh out their Apollo programming. Networks paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for scale models of Apollo command modules and rockets. During the broadcast, these were used to create simulations of the mission which were then intercut with real footage.”

“The thing to remember is what news was like in the late 1960’s, not 24-hour continuous coverage,” Margaret Weitekamp, Chair of the Space History Department at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, said by phone. “The coverage of that trip needed to be explained to the public without the ability for continuous relay of video we are now used to.”

“Animations would have been a part of a constellation of different ways that that story was told over a series of days. At the time, the coverage would have been combined with animations that helped provide a broader picture of what was being done. But this certainly doesn’t invalidate that those landings took place.”

There is no evidence that the moon landing was faked or that astronauts did not walk on the moon. However, there is plenty of evidence that it happened. Reports about the landing can be seen ( here ), ( here ) and ( here ).

VERDICT
False. Astronaut Buzz Aldrin explaining that broadcasters used animations during their coverage of the moon landing does not prove that it was faked.

But that’s far from the first time Buzz has seemed to admit the whole thing was a fake.

You have to wonder if on his death bed Buzz will finally and unequivocally confess to the fake?

A GREAT question!

Because there is no other example in recorded history where something new was discovered and then we just stopped going there.

Imagine discovering America in 1492 and then the Europeans just decided to never send another boat.

Right, didn’t happen.

Would never happen.

Doesn’t pass the smell test.

So watch this short clip where Buzz says the reason we never went back is because we never went in the first place!

It must have felt good to finally get that off his chest I guess?

Oh, then there was this gem…

Bart Sibrel (more on him in a minute) caught Buzz one day out on the street and he asked him something simple: swear on this Bible that you actual went to the moon.

Buzz becomes visibly agitated and then punches Bart in the face.
