Emails Show High-Ranking Democrat Governor Very Cozy With Hunter Biden

Gavin Newsom has come under a microscope for his connection to Hunter Biden and the Biden family’s ongoing financial scandals.

Emails recovered from the infamous Hunter Biden laptop have revealed that Biden conducted several fundraising events on behalf of Newsom that generated thousands of dollars.

In response to this, Newsom issued a pointed defense of Hunter Biden and the Biden family’s business deals.

Conservative news outlet Proud Elephant writes: “Disgraced California Governor Gavin Newsom is under fire for his close friendship with Hunter Biden, which includes quid pro quo donations, meetings with rich foreigners, and invitations [to] the White House. Criminals stick together it seems!”

Fox News provided this statement from Newsom:

“I don’t know enough about the details of that. I mean I’ve seen a little of that,” Newsom told CNN’s Dana Bash when asked if Hunter Biden did anything “inappropriate” leveraging his father’s name in his business dealings.

“If that’s the new criteria, there are a lot of folks in a lot of industries – not just in politics – where people have family members and relationships and they’re trying to parlay and get a little influence and benefit in that respect. That’s hardly unique.”

The New York Post shot down Newsom’s excuse:

Newsom was trying to downplay the Biden family business of selling influence and access, claiming “lots” of people do it.

Yet when it’s the president or vice president of the United States and his family raking in millions in exchange for official favors (or even perceived favors), and when the now-president’s Justice Department is working to cover it all up, it means our leaders aren’t working for the American people but for themselves — often at the public’s expense.

If Newsom doesn’t get that, beware if he ever runs for president.
