Oliver Anthony, the musician behind the beautiful song “Rich Men North of Richmond” has a message for the D.C. establishment. …

More specifically, the GOP political establishment and hopefuls for the U.S. Presidency who referenced his song during the debates—”I wrote that song about [you] people,” said Anthony.

Oliver Anthony recently told the world:

“It’s aggravating seeing people on conservative news try to identify with me like I’m one of them. It’s aggravating seeing certain musicians and politicians act like we’re buddies and act like we’re fighting the same struggle here.”

“It was funny seeing it at the presidential debate ’cause it’s like I wrote that song about those people, you know, so for them to have to sit there and listen to that, uh, that cracks me up.”

According to The Washington Examiner, Edward Snowden claims the FBI likely has a file on Anthony:

Edward Snowden, the famous whistleblower who blew the lid on the National Security Agency’s unlawful surveillance program, recently hinted that there’s a good chance the FBI has already opened a file on Anthony.
