Johnson called the return of such measures ‘alarming’ and claimed that he would oppose mask mandates, lockdowns, and other Covid regulations.

My friend Clint Russell said exactly what I am thinking right now and drew his line in the sand:

“I want to be very clear: I will never wear a mask again. I will never lock down again. If they roll it out for air travel I will not fly. 

If they mandate it for businesses of any kind I will go elsewhere. Think back to the timeline from late 2019 into 2020, this once again puts us on the same track to have mass mail-in ballots for the next election.

It is the EXACT same game plan. Please, for the sake of yourselves, your children, your liberty and your country do NOT comply.

Reject it now. If enough of us ridicule, mock, and reject these plans they might retreat. I’m so pissed they would even try this sh*t again.”

The Epoch Times quoted Rep. Johnson:

“It’s alarming that the mandates are kicking in again.” 

“It’s like, OK, we noticed masks didn’t work, particularly for children. We always knew they didn’t work for kids.

N-95 masks can have some marginal benefits—but not to deny people freedom.”

As you can imagine, the reactions online were overwhelmingly negative. … If they attempt to pull this again do not comply. … I know I won’t!

The slow creep of mask mandates for COVID-19 is returning again, and it must be rejected in every area of life that petty bureaucrats attempt to impose those requirements.

Mask mandates are already making their return to the bastion of liberal lunacy that is higher education.

Morris Brown College in Atlanta has reinstituted a mask mandate, unironically embracing the broken promise of “15 days to slow the spread” by setting an initial mandate of 14 days.

It will also be enforcing social distancing, contact tracing, and quarantines.
