Man Sent to Psychiatric Ward For Questioning COVID-19 Shots and Climate Change?

Independent journalist Peter Imanuelsen, also known as PeterSweden, reports a disturbing story from Norway about a man sent to a psychiatric ward for questioning the mRNA COVID-19 shots and climate change.

The Norwegian man, Trond Harald Haaland, criticized the World Economic Forum, vaccine passports, and climate change, Sweden says.

He has posted a lot about the excess death rates we have been seeing after the roll out of the mRNA vaccines.

In other words, this is a man who does not believe the mainstream media narrative. He thinks for himself. And he has been actively criticizing the Norwegian health system for what happened during the pandemic.

Among other things, earlier this year he sent a letter to a very senior doctor in his region to demand a stop to covid vaccination of children 5 to 11 years old.

Now someone had anonymously reported him to the police for being “mentally unstable”. We have no idea who it was. Could be anyone. It could be some antifa extremist that had reported him for all we know.

Then the police contacted the health system based on this anonymous tip.

That is all that was needed for two “health care workers” together with two uniformed police officers to arrive at his door and forcibly haul the man away and lock him up in a phsyciatric ward.

“We are now at the point where people get locked up in psychiatric wards for the crime of questioning the official narrative on social media. Yes, this literally happened in Norway. The media covered it up so you never even got to hear about it!” Sweden writes.

Norwegian outlet Steigan also covered the shocking story:

We have received information that the Stavanger man Trond Harald Haaland has been forcibly hospitalized under the Mental Health Protection Act. Haaland has been an active critic of the Norwegian healthcare system in connection with the lockdown policy and the more or less mandatory vaccines that have been forced on us in the last couple of years.

The message that Haaland has been forcibly hospitalized began to circulate on Facebook on July 21 and it was claimed that he was hospitalized because of a post he had just written on Facebook.

Haaland has lawyer Barbro Paulsen to represent her and she can confirm the actual relationship. Haaland has been compulsorily hospitalized under section 3-2 of the Act on Mental Health Protection (forced observation).

Attorney Paulsen has not been sent the case’s documents, which have already been requested on 19.07. She has also not been presented with the rationale behind Haaland’s admission and she has also been told by the hospital that the report of concern is anonymous, which is very unusual. According to the law, the threshold for compulsory detention is very high, and she cannot see arguments that are good enough according to the law to be able to carry out a compulsory detention in this case. After the admission, a female doctor added that the admission also applies to the Act on Mental Health Protection Section 3-3. This doctor has not met the patient and lawyer Paulsen says that the justification she has received over the phone appears to be very vague and weakly justified.

“For nine days, Trond Harald Håland was deprived of his freedom on false grounds. On 28 July, the decision on compulsory hospitalization was declared invalid and the Control Commission for Mental Health Care was rescinded,” Document reports.

“There was no basis for using coercive measures against Håland, states the commission. And yet two uniformed police officers and two ditto health workers trooped up to Håland’s door on 19 July. If you were not ill before, such a dramatic situation can knock anyone off the hook,” the outlet writes.

The senior doctor attempted to justify the forced hospitalization, saying Håland only posted about the controversial topics when he was “ill.”

When he is healthy and stable he does not post and is not interested in these topics. It is an abnormal behavior he has now considering how he is when he is healthy. He is still covering up and suspicious.

Attorney Paulsen disagrees.

– He has posted actively for several years, he has asked critical questions and cast a critical eye on the authorities for several years. His focus has been mostly on this with the vaccination of children. Together with several others, he wrote a letter to the county doctor in January 2023 where they demanded a halt to the corona vaccination of children between the ages of five and eleven.

Together with several others, Håland also signed a report by the municipal doctor in Strand.

– The topic in the letter, and in the report by the municipal doctor, was a demand to stop the vaccination of children. These are legal remedies, Paulsen points out.

Sweden noted that Håland shared one of his posts the same day he was forcibly hospitalized.

“So the police showed up at his door on the 19th of July to drag him away. I had a look at his facebook profile to see what he had posted. And to my shock, he had shared one of my posts on the very same day that he was locked up for being ‘mentally unstable’!” Sweden writes.
