Sandra Bullock’s Partner Dead At 57

Actress Sandra Bullock’s longtime relationship partner Bryan Randall passed away on Saturday after a long battle with ALS.

Brian Randall was 57 at the time of his passing and according to his family, he passed away peacefully.

In a statement, his family wrote, “Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private, and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request.”

Randall who was a photographer was dating Bullock for over 8 years after meeting in 2015.

Sandra Bullock’s longtime partner, Bryan Randall, died Saturday after a three-year battle with ALS, his family confirmed to Fox News Digital. He was 57.

“It is with great sadness that we share that on August 5th Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a 3 year battle with ALS,” his family said in a statement.

“Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request,” they continued

“We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours. At this time we ask for privacy to grieve and to come to terms with the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan.”

The statement on behalf of Randall’s family was signed “His Loving Family.” Instead of flowers or gifts, his family asked that donations in his honor be made to ALS Research and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Bullock and Randall, who was a photographer, had been dating since 2015. According to People magazine, the pair first met when he was hired to take pictures during the birthday party for her son, Louis, that January.

Bryan Randall died aged 57 after being diagnosed three years ago with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

In a statement, Randall’s family said they were “immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness”.

Bullock was also praised for her care by her sister Gesine Bullock-Brado in a tribute she posted on Instagram.

“ALS is a cruel disease,” she wrote, “but there is some comfort in knowing he had the best of caretakers in my amazing sister and the band of nurses she assembled who helped her look after him in their home.”

“I’m convinced that Bry has found the best fishing spot in heaven and is already casting his lure into rushing rivers teaming [sic] with salmon.”
