Target has attracted the attention and the ire of conservative policymakers—something no company wants.
In the wake of the company’s decision to put up pride displays in its stores, a massive backlash ensued from Conservatives and Target’s stock price plummeted.
Now, conservative lawmakers have penned a letter to the retail giant explaining that they are extremely concerned that Target violated the law with their pride displays.
Led by Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita, the letter outlined several areas where Target potentially broke the law, including a breach of fiduciary duties, parental rights, and the potential harm done to minors.

The Epoch Times dissected the letter:
The letter did not indicate what steps the attorneys general might take in their respective states.
The letter to Mr. Cornell was signed by Mr. Rokita as well as attorneys general from Arkansas, Idaho, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, and South Carolina.

Savanah Hernandez writes:
“Target removed Pride items/displays from stores after losing billions. Bud Light lost billions after partnering with Dylan Mulvaney. Starbucks has allegedly banned Pride decorations for the rest of the month. The White House just condemned & banned the trans influencers who flashed the nation…
Based on the incredible backtrack we’re seeing…maybe corporations and the federal government backing a giant sex cult wasn’t the best choice.”

The Associated Press previously reported:
Target said that customers knocked down Pride displays at some stores, angrily approached workers and posted threatening videos on social media from inside the stores.
ADVERTISEMENTTarget declined to specify Wednesday which items it was removing but among the ones that garnered the most attention were “tuck friendly” women’s swimsuits that allow trans women who have not had gender-affirming operations to conceal their private parts.
