Former Congressman Says He and Ron DeSantis “Together We Would Take a Shower in the Basement”

While praising Ron DeSantis for president, former Oklahoma Rep. Jim Bridenstine, NASA administrator in the Trump administration, revealed bizarre details of some sort of ‘bromance’ between the two former legislators.

“He lived in his office like I lived in my office. And together we would take a shower in the basement. And we had a daily meeting when we took showers,” Bridenstine said.

“Am I allowed to say that?” he asked.

The question on everyone’s mind: Why is Ron DeSantis showering with other men?

NOT NORMAL.

Bridenstine made the comments while DeSantis worked on receiving endorsements from Oklahoma Republicans.

The Hill reports:

Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis is touting endorsements from Oklahoma Republicans as he prepares to head to the state this weekend.

On Thursday, former Oklahoma Rep. Jim Bridenstine (R), who served as NASA administrator under former President Trump, threw his support behind the Florida governor.

“Governor DeSantis and I were classmates in Congress, original members of the Freedom Caucus, and we have worked together on many legislative issues over the years,” Bridenstine said in a statement. “Governor DeSantis is highly intellectual, always willing to listen, and relentless in fighting for what’s right. He has always been strong on defense and a great advocate for America’s space program. He will make a great Commander in Chief.”

Bridenstine’s endorsement follows news that 20 Oklahoma state lawmakers backed DeSantis on Wednesday.

Oklahoma House Majority Leader Jon Echols (R) and state Sen. Lonnie Paxton (R) cited DeSantis’s ability to serve two terms in their statements backing the Florida governor. Because of constitutional limits, Trump would be able to serve only one more term as president.

The Oklahoma crowd didn’t seem too thrilled about Ron DeSantis as the state’s choice for the GOP presidential primary.

Watch the less than enthusiastic reaction to Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt attempting to pump up the crowd for DeSantis.

“Governor Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma, who I didn’t know very well, called me before his last election to say he was in BIG trouble and very much needed my Endorsement. I LOVE Oklahoma & won 77 out of 77 Counties, something that never happened before. Ronald Reagan was next with 56. Anyway, I gave him my endorsement, he immediately went way up, and won. Now, despite the fact that DeSanctimonious is losing to Biden, & me, Stitt just endorsed him. Wow! He disliked “the Indians” & my great Senate pick!” Trump posted to Truth Social Monday on Gov. Stitt’s DeSantis endorsement.

Things keep getting worse and worse for the DeSantis campaign.
