Investigative journalist James O’Keefe has found an ally and support in the most unlikely of places and from the most unlikely people. …

The ACLU—that’s right, you read that right, you aren’t hallucinating.

According to the O’Keefe Media Group, the ACLU sent a letter to a federal court siding with O’Keefe’s reporting on the Ashley Biden diary case.

Recall that the FBI raided O’Keefe’s home and took the diary.

The O’Keefe Media Group had this to say about the recent development:

The ACLU made this official statement:

The following is a statement from Brian Hauss, senior staff attorney with the ACLU’s Speech, Privacy, and Technology Project, in response to reports of an FBI raid on Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe:

“Project Veritas has engaged in disgraceful deceptions, and reasonable observers might not consider their activities to be journalism at all.

Nevertheless, the precedent set in this case could have serious consequences for press freedom.

Unless the government had good reason to believe that Project Veritas employees were directly involved in the criminal theft of the diary, it should not have subjected them to invasive searches and seizures.

We urge the court to appoint a special master to ensure that law enforcement officers review only those materials that were lawfully seized and that are directly relevant to a legitimate criminal investigation.”

Raheem Kassam, Charlie Kirk, and Mike Cernovich had this to say about the authenticity of the Ashley Biden diary and the subsequent FBI raid on James O’Keefe’s home.

REMINDER: The FBI knew of the authenticity of Ashley Biden’s diary — where she says her father Joe Biden used to make her take showers with him when she was young. They raided James O’Keefe’s home to try and cover it up.
