Musk Reverses Censorship Decision!

I have never seen a more responsive leader—someone who will swiftly switch courses, admit they were wrong, and apologize to people on a public forum.

This is why I am a big fan of Elon Musk, he’s dynamic and willing to admit fault—he actually listens to people who use his product instead of imposing a strict, top-down, authoritarian regime.

Earlier today, I wrote a piece on why every conservative should be concerned about Twitter’s decision to censor the Daily Wire production “What Is A Woman?” by Matt Walsh.

I was somewhat critical of Twitter’s actions in the piece and of Twitter’s broader ‘speech, but not reach’ policy.

Now I have to eat my words because, according to this tweet from Elon Musk, the promotion of “What Is A Woman?” is back on, and you can stream the film for free on Twitter over the next 24 hours. Just click here.

Here’s Musk’s response to Daily Wire CEO Jeremy Boreing’s earlier thread:

Earlier, Matt Walsh also spoke out and exclaimed that they Daily Wire would stream “What Is A Woman?” for free, on Twitter, regardless of the promotion.

Daily Wire reported earlier today:

After Elon Musk’s takeover of the social media platform and his promised dedication to free speech, The Daily Wire sought a deal to stream Matt Walsh’s “What is a Woman?” on Twitter for the documentary’s one-year anniversary.

Initially, Twitter responded enthusiastically to the idea, even offering The Daily Wire a package to purchase a whole page for Twitter users to view the film, Boreing said.

That changed after the platform asked to view a screening of the film.

Here’s a short trailer of the film, in case you haven’t heard much about the groundbreaking documentary:

Trending Politics also confirmed the reversal of the earlier decision to censor “What Is A Woman?”:

Twitter owner Elon Musk stepped in and reversed the company’s decision to censor an airing of Daily Wire’s widely successful What Is A Woman documentary.

The company had previously told Daily Wire that it would need to be edited to remove instances of “misgendering.”
