New Twitter CEO: ‘Currency We’ve Used Will Disappear in September 2024?’

Elon Musk confirmed Friday that NBCUniversal’s Linda Yaccarino would be Twitter’s new CEO.

WLTR reported on Yaccarino’s links to the World Economic Forum, which should warrant the biggest of red flags of her hiring.

Twitter users have spent the past two days combing through Yaccarino’s background and previous tweets.

Here’s footage of a recent interview between Yaccarino and Musk.

Here’s another eyebrow-raising tweet that I came across this evening.

In this tweet, Yaccarino makes a peculiar prediction about ‘currency.’

Her February 2023 tweet reads: “Because change is not going to stop. In fact, its going to keep coming. The clock is ticking…as of Sept 2024, the currency we’ve all used for years is going to disappear. We cant slow down…which is why we’ve certified 29 new partners across 5 different categories”

While it’s unclear if Yaccarino was the individual who made this statement, she still decided to share it to her Twitter followers.

It appears the quote came from NBCUniversal’s ONE23 Developer Conference.

My question is what currency is she referring to that will disappear by September 2024?

A physical USD?

Is this an ominous prediction when cash will disappear?

Twitters users speculated:

Elon Musk did say he looks forward to working with Yaccarino to transform Twitter into X, ‘the everything app.’

Elon Musk praised China’s WeChat a while back for being an ‘everything app.’
