There are two things I want to prove by doing this series:
The first is to prove to you that satanic ritual abuse(SRA) happens everywhere. I started this series in St. Louis, Missouri, and I will report on South Carolina in this article. Secondly, I want to prove that most cases in the era known as the “Satanic Panic” were eventually covered up and haven’t been solved to this day!

In the small town of Dekalb(just north of Camden) in 1989, there was much concern about satanic rituals as graves were dug up and animals were missing. The town had a presentation at a church talking about the satanic calendar and how teens were potentially drinking the blood of humans for power.
The rise of satanic rituals in Belton, South Carolina. This except from 1996. Investigators found animal bones scattered all across the area. They also found at least a gallon of animal blood poured out on a neighbor’s driveway. As well as missing animals and animal skulls with bullet holes in the skull. One lady claimed to have heard bagpipes near where the incident was suspected to be. The place was in a thickly wooded area where Jim Garrett Road and Mayfield Heights Road branch off S.C. 413. Other places mentioned as possible places for ritual activity include near Crybaby Bridge, Stumphouse Mountain Tunnel, an abandoned church between Westminster and Toccoa, and also lots in Oconee County. Investigators also mention a girl from Williamston who was a whistleblower of participating in these rituals. Former Chief Deputy Mike Temple claims that he believes there are at least 2-3 groups in Anderson County practicing rituals from vandalism to murder.
In 1988 in Conway, there are robbing of graves for satanic ritual purposes.
In an excerpt from 1991 in Walhalla SC, the public is beginning to fear that more occult activity is happening in the area with several decapitated heads found of black cats and goats. The rituals are then described.
In Liberty, SC, in 1989, law enforcement officials believe that a teen missing is connected with a satanic ritual.
1988: Satanism is plaguing South Carolina with rituals happening all around the state.
