And recently she went on the Todd Starnes Show and said this:
Lara Trump told national radio host Todd Starnes she believes “God is in control” as the former president traveled to Manhattan Monday to face criminal charges.
“There is no doubt that the only reason that my father-in-law has been able to withstand all the attacks against him, all the incoming, and still come out on top is because God is in control,” Trump said on the “Todd Starnes Show.”
The former president’s daughter-in-law added that Americans need to come together to pray for the country.
“We have to pray for the future of this country. If we lose the United States of America, we are it. We are all that is left. We are the ultimate symbol to those around the world facing communist fear and tyranny and oppression. And if we fall, that is it. There is nothing else left. So we have to all continue to pray and pray together,” Trump said.
She said the attacks on the former president are rooted in evil and spiritual warfare.

“It’s not just Republican versus Democrat or left versus right. It really has felt like good versus evil in so many respects,” she told Starnes. “Since the day my father-in-law decided to run for president, an interesting thing has happened to all of us. I feel like wherever we would campaign even if I go to the drugstore, to a restaurant, dropping my kids off at school, people will come up to us and say that they’re praying for us. And I have to tell you, it gives me chills every time. We all feel it. It means the world to us. But there is no doubt in my mind that God has played a role in all of this.”
Former President Trump traveled to NYC Monday and is expected to be arraigned Tuesday related to accusations of a hush money payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels during the 2016 election.
Trump has maintained that he is innocent and called Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case against him a “witch hunt.”
Lara Trump said she believes this prosecution is about stopping Trump from running for president again.
“It has almost nothing to do with prosecuting Donald Trump. It has everything, of course, to do with preventing him from becoming the 47th president,” she said.
