Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu has responded to reports of President Trump calling him “F*cking crazy” over the phone.
As WLT Report previously reported, on Wednesday, in a newly released interview with the New York Post’s “Pod Force One” podcast, President Trump confirmed he had a rather tense call with Netanyahu.
Now, in an interview with CNBC, Netanyahu has responded to reports that President Trump called him crazy, and in his response, he appeared to downplay it.
The Times of Israel provided further details on Netanyahu’s response:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed in an interview Wednesday that he held a difficult conversation with US President Donald Trump days earlier, but downplayed the significance of the matter and insisted that he and the American leader agree on “the main things.”
The interview, which was conducted live by CNBC, came hours after Trump himself confirmed reports that he called Netanyahu “fucking crazy” during the Monday phone call, saying he was “perturbed” by the premier’s escalation in fighting in Lebanon.
“I’m not going to get into details of our conversations,” Netanyahu told CNBC.
“We’ve had thousands, well, a lot of them,” he said. “And if you think this is a crisis, you should be in some other conversations. But we’ve always found a way.”
He and Trump agree on “the main things,” Netanyahu insisted, including the necessity of preventing Iran from posing a threat to Israel, the region and the world.
“This has been a great relationship because he’s been the greatest friend that Israel has ever had in the White House,” he said.
Watch Netanyahu here:
Journalist:
"Trump called you "fu****g crazy."
🇮🇱🇺🇸 Netanyahu:
"Sometimes, as in the best of families, we have these tactical disagreements. We always find a way to work them out.
We can disagree in the morning, and we have a common action by the afternoon."

The New York Times provided details on Trump’s thoughts on the call:
President Trump offered a glimpse into his private conversations with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday, suggesting that the two men had a broadly positive rapport but that recent disagreements had prompted the president to call the Israeli leader “crazy.”
ADVERTISEMENT“We’ve worked very well together,” Mr. Trump said in an interview with The New York Post, summarizing their working relationship as close and constructive.
But Mr. Trump confirmed that he had repeatedly used expletives to convey his frustration on a recent phone call with Mr. Netanyahu over Israel’s military campaign in Lebanon when asked about an Axios report on the conversation between the two men.
“I was a little bit perturbed at his constantly fighting with Lebanon,” he said, referring to the war between Israel and Hezbollah, the Iran-backed militia in Lebanon.
Mr. Trump made his comments after reports of a growing split between the two leaders as the war with Iran, which began with joint U.S.-Israeli attacks, drags on. The Trump administration has excluded Israel from negotiations to end the conflict and the president has publicly urged Israel to stop fighting with Hezbollah.
In an interview with CNBC on Wednesday published after Mr. Trump made his remarks, Mr. Netanyahu acknowledged what he described as “tactical disagreements” with the president but declined to share details. “We always find a way to work them out,” he said.
Here is President Trump discussing the call:
Trump confirmed he called Netanyahu “fucking crazy” during a heated phone call, saying he was not “angry” but “perturbed” by the Prime Minister’s actions in Lebanon.
“I said, ‘Bibi, we’ve got to stop this’.”
