LA Mayoral Hopeful Shuts Down Leftist Comic’s Attack With Jeffrey Epstein Zinger

Chelsea Handler might fancy herself a comedian, but she seems to be the butt of the joke more often than the source.

Most recently, the left-leaning entertainer set her sights on former reality TV host Spencer Pratt, who is currently running as an independent candidate for mayor of Los Angeles.

After castigating him for his previous career in entertainment and for being a White male with “no previous experience in government” and who “should not be a legitimate political candidate,” Handler invoked President Donald Trump as an analog as if that should immediately disqualify Pratt.

But the candidate wasn’t deterred, and Fox News reported that he was quick with a comeback:

Hours later, Pratt took to X to respond.

“Most of you have probably never heard of Chelsea Handler, so here’s an introduction!” he wrote, attaching a video of comedian Shane Gillis at the recent Netflix roast of Kevin Hart.

In the video, Gillis said, “Chelsea Handler went to dinner at Jeffrey Epstein’s house in 2010. That’s just a fun one. You can look it up, there’s articles. It wasn’t like a big party, there was, like, seven people there. It was like, Prince Andrew and Woody Allen were there.”

It was an unfortunately timed attack on Handler’s part, since she was already on the receiving end of social media backlash, including from fellow comedians, in the wake of Gillis’ roast revelation:

Meanwhile, Pratt’s handling of the situation garnered widespread support:

Although a clear underdog against Democrats in the far-left City of Angels, Pratt has proven his ability to gain traction through blunt communication and effective social media moments, like this one recently covered by KBAK:

Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt on Monday released a viral “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” ad following a news report that he lived there.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was a popular show in the ’90s that starred Will Smith as the main character.

In the ad which has 3.7 million views on X, Pratt sings to the tune of the popular theme song of the show, but changes the lyrics.
