Today, Vice President JD Vance got his turn filling in for Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt while she is out on maternity leave.

And, his sense of humor was on full display!

During the press briefing, VP Vance revealed the hilarious deal he made with Karoline.

In exchange for Vance filling in for her while she is home with her baby, Leavitt has to fill in for him as Vice President when his wife, Usha, gives birth this summer!

You’ve got to admit — this administration has to be the funniest in the history our nation.

But, just wait for the MSM to jump on this and start seething…

As you may recall, Secretary of State Marco Rubio also filled in for Leavitt as Press Secretary earlier this month.

Vice President Vance will host the White House press briefing Tuesday following Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s debut at the podium earlier this month.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt is on maternity leave, and a number of administration officials are slated to fill in for her while she is away from the podium.

The news comes as Vance and Rubio have increasingly been floated as potential 2028 presidential contenders.

Rubio was widely praised by Republicans and even some Democrats for his performance in the briefing room earlier this month, and he has been front and center on the national stage following his high-stakes trip with President Trump to China last week.
