WATCH: ‘Twerking’ Democrat Candidate Calls Herself A C*** While Flashing Her Crotch

It seems the left is capable of producing an endless parade of absurdist characters, each seemingly committed to being even more shocking than the last.

As a recent example, Michigan congressional candidate Shelby Campbell has been posting an array of provocative social media posts that have drawn widespread backlash for their sexual and vulgar content.

The New York Post reported this:

Some of Campbell’s more outrageous clips have exploded online in recent days, racking up millions of views as critics claimed that she’s proof that “Democrats are not sending their best.”

“Michigan House Democrat candidate Shelby Campbell’s campaign strategy? Twerking for votes,” the Libs of TikTok account posted on X alongside one video of Campbell shaking her behind for the camera.

The Democratic candidate, whose campaign website proudly declares she has been to jail and includes four prior mugshots, routinely floods her official account with jaw-dropping footage. 

One vile video shows her squatting over the camera while wearing a pair of shorts before asking an apparent hater, “I am a c–t. Great. But would you know a cl—t if you saw one?”

Another captured her twerking and crouching down on a kitchen counter saying, “I am an ethical person. I am a classy bitch, am I not?”

That last example racked up a particularly high rate of disapproval in the replies when reshared by Libs of TikTok:

Campbell has embraced her controversial public persona. Her campaign website begins with a clear message: “I’m not here to pretend I’m perfect.”

She positions herself as the candidate who can empathize with her constituents’ daily lives, having lived them herself. She points out that 51 percent of the 13th district is female, more than half of whom are employed in service, retail, healthcare, and automotive industries. Furthermore, only 17 percent hold higher education degrees.

Campbell claims to be a first-generation college graduate and formerly worked as a bartender, restaurant server, certified nursing assistant, and as a third-generation autoworker who sold her automobile, drives a scooter, and takes public transportation. Campbell also has a criminal record; her website features four mugshots alongside her biography, which states, “I’ve been to jail. I’ve been judged. And I’ve gotten back up.”
